Help me out! I didn't know where else to turn! I'll be visiting some family in Charlotte for the first time during Christmas and wanted to get a list going of things I need to take back to Michigan with me. I'm not looking to spend hundreds but I would like to bring some of the "must haves" from the area back home. I'm open to any style but have a preference for keeping the ABV above 7. Thanks a ton!

Triple C BA Up All Night is one I'd definitely pick up.

Go to Brawley's...he'll have plenty to fulfill your needs there! Also, like @scottdills said, you definitely need to get Triple C bbl Up All Night. It'll be released mid-December, so you should be just in time.

Thanks guys! I'll def stop in Brawley's and take a look around. Always exciting to try out another states local brew!

Personally, I would skip Brawley's and go to Salud instead. Very knowledgeable, helpful staff and tons of great local stuff on tap and packaged. Plus, the owner is a Michigan man himself, so you'll likely get some good conversation while you're in there too.

The shop is within a shout of Heist, NoDa, Free Range, Birdsong, and Legion Brewing, so you can hit a brewery or two while you're over that way.

What @dgfair said. Salud also does crowlers, which I don't think any other bottle shop in town does.
