If anyone is interested I am running a Beer Basket fundraiser, all proceeds (minus credit card fees) will be distributed to 6 local Pittsburgh charities: Zoe's New Beginnings; Operation Safety Net; Variety - The Children's Charity; KidsVoice; Jacob Pribanic Heart Transplant Fund; KDKA Turkey Fund benefits the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Ticket sales and additional details can be found in the link below. The drawing will take place at Voodoo Homestead on Tuesday, 12/20, from 7-10pm. You will need a ticket (free) to attend the drawing (available via the link below) and there is a max capacity of 75. You must be 21 or older to win, must present ID to verify your age, but you need to be present to win.

Anyone seeing high westified in western pa? Lagunitas website show's it available everywhere but no places I've called actually have it.

I'm seriously debating jumping in on this, but I don't know that I can guarantee I'll be able to drive 90+ minutes on a snowy weeknight to get here.

Anyway, the point of this is to mention that, unless I'm reading it wrong, on the Eventbrite page to get the attendance (free) ticket, it says that you do not have to be present to win. Just wanted to let you know in case you needed to contact anyone to remedy the situation.

Anyone know what the deal is with Hitchhiker opening their place in the South Side? Is that still a go?

 

Southside turned them away last year or early this year. They have been looking for a new spot for a while.

Haven't seen anyone mention but Voodoo released three new cans. Space Cadet - Double IPA with galaxy, 37 pieces of flair, and venti. Also saw that Michigan Maple Jesus (AMAZING BEER) has been released again in the area. Happy hunting.

 

Man, if anyone can grab a bottle of Maple Jesus and/or Biscotti/Mexican Cake, I'd gladly play the cost plus a special brew from Bissel Bros.

I left Pittsburgh the day that Steel City and Shadyside tweeted about the availability.

It sucks having to visit my darned family, but such is Christmas.

I'm a little late to the party, but I know a place in Beaver County that has a case of each on the shelf. Not trying to spend that much, but I am certainly open to some cost-sharing if you and/or anyone else is interested.

 

They had 2 dino smores, 2 maple jesus, 2 mexican cake and 3 wws on Friday. I picked up one of the cases dino smores.

 

One of each as of last night. If it wasn't immediately after the holidays, I'd probably splurge. [Un]fortunately, I'm trying to show a little restraint in the new year.
