Anyone heard this? Two stores in my area now have said no Harvest wet hopped ale this year due to the increased production of Breakfast stout. Really ruined my day, this is one if my favorites from them.

    That's a shame.

    Harvest > FBS

I'm certainly not knocking FBS, Harvest is just that good.

I hope this is just a viscous rumor.

I am pretty sure this is incorrect, harvest is being brewed as normal to my knowledge

It's coming. I asked Founders on Facebook and they said they would be bottling in early October and to expect it by mid-October.

Wow, big relief, thanks for the replies. Good thing I wasn't in my car earlier or I'd probably be in a ditch right now...

Well when a buddy called who had read your post and told me, I was driving, and I did run into a ditch. The All Day IPA tow truck is just now arriving. Damn dude, that's how rumors get started. Seriously though, that would have been like canceling Christmas. Harvest Ale was my favorite beer last year! Love that stuff!

I wish we would see more, that is the hands down best harvest beer I ever had.

I had asked Founders on Twitter the other day and they said packaging on Oct 4 with shipment right after.

Yes, Harvest is also one of my favorite Founders brews.

When the hops are ready they are going into bottles. Did anyone bother simply consulting Founder's website first?

Last year's version was arguably the best Founder's harvest ale I've ever had. It was soooooo..... good!

Not sure it's the best harvest beer I've ever had (I've had some absolutely wild and amazing harvest beers from the wet hop harvest festivals in Oregon), but damn is it good. I was literally heartbroken at the thought it might not be around this year.
