I was out last weekend and it was great. I really enjoyed Beach Zombie. The fruit was so well done I kept expecting to find pulp somewhere in my glass. Dangerous Precedent was is a nice and it was interesting to hear Tony talk about the difficulties in sourcing hops as well as what it means to have increasingly more regional hops, ex: Cascade from Massachusetts and how it's different from Yakima Cascade. He described it as a "dangerous precedent" to put an IPA on without knowing how long they'll have the hops to continue making it!

The space was big, though not noisy, and it never felt crowded.

For those that are turned off by the music at OH (though I don't know how that could be the case), the classic rock at KCBC might be a better fit!

What time did you stop by? I passed by last night and it looked open (people on both sides of bar in taproom).

Their instagram account doesn't say that they are open on Wednesdays.

OK, maybe staff and wives/girlfriends hanging out inside. Like I said, I just passed by. Didn't try to go in.

    I was there last Monday.
Beach Zombie is the best Berliner Weisse I've ever had. Sandcastle is
also an outstanding Saison, and Dangerous precedent is a very good IPA.
They have taste sizes (5oz) for 2-3$, if you wanna get the gist of what they are doing.
I suggest to keep an eye on their Instagram account for updates on opening and stuff.
The taproom is actually pretty big if you compare it to others breweries in nyc
    I recommend a visit.

nice big spacious tap room which reminds me of finback. interboro has a more other half vibe.

    beach zombie is special.

    3. We partner with Ninth Planet to put the beer into 16 oz. cans on Wednesday, December 7th.
    4. We release the kraken and those über-fresh cans to the general public starting at12noon in the KCBC taproom on Saturday, December 10th. $16 per 4-pack. Limit 1 case per person.

i think these should last a while, for the most part this beer has been readily available and most people had the opportunity to take it home in growlers/crowlers.

love love love the art work tho.
wish i could say the same about LIC

Agreed on all points. Have to work that day so can't make it but hope to stop by Sunday and pick up some cans without issue.

I picked up a couple of 4 packs, really think they are killing the can art game. I love how well designed the label is and details like the reflective outline of the text.

Place kinda weirded me out for some reason. Every single employee was decked out in KCBC gear, which looked very Chive-y. Didn't really care for the DIPA can they released, but I really enjoyed the Blushing Nun

Cracked open a can of Dangerous Precedent from the 12/7 canning. Something just seems missing. I had this beer over the summer and thought it was fantastic. Like there was no flavor whatsoever on the backend. 26 days from the canning line shouldnt affect the beer that much, should it?
