Highly doubt these 2 stouts will bring a huge line (or a line at all.) All the Dads will dragging their wives and daughters to Finback anyway.

I just wish OH didn't announce their releases in advance. Announce them on late Friday or something.

I know I'll be lining up early, partially because I love In Absentia. I'll jet to Finback afterwards.

Last year I hit Finback for the BA BQE release and remember the line being slow and constant. Didn't they sell out the same day, even if it was 3 or 4PM? Honestly, without a solid track record it's difficult to justify hitting OH at all, especially with this relatively low yield. Damn I wish they'd keg some of these stouts.

I dont think they sold out, because they had some leftover bottles at the AB BQE release a couple weeks later. Unless they intentionally held some for the next release. I really hope finback wont be a shit show like last week at OH, while there are a few "bad apples" at finback release, its usually more low key.

After posting I scoured their IG feed and the Finback thread and I think I confused my going to their BQExC release with the BA BQE release. Both of those sources suggested they did not sell out the day of. Fingers crossed some OH beer is around late afternoon- to get both would be like an early Christmas!

    Quick poll!

What's a bigger waste of time: this thread or the lines?

Maybe I'm weird but I really enjoy reading this thread. Esp after I get home after an OH release and crack one open.

these two stouts could've just been a silent release.

Considering I've spent exponentially more time in this thread, then excellent point haha

Right, I was gonna swing by tonight for a growler, "We've got some new bottles" would be nice to hear.

I find reading this thread entertaining. I do not find waiting in line entertaining.

Quick poll (haven't had either beer) -

Should I get a growler of BUTS or Fully Frothed? Have to choose one. Leaning Frothed based on what I've read.

I can't comment on BUTS, but I will say that Fully Frothed is amazing IMO.

Having enjoyed both in cans and draft, it's an easy choice for me: BUTS.

Same here. Frothed is very good but not particularly unique - BUTS is wild.
