What beer are you drinking now? #1510

Cold weather coming in tonight, so had to have another belly warmer .
Lagunitas High Westie currently being thouroughly enjoyed and sipped .
Sure hope I can find a few more of these as I'm going to miss them when they are gone

It's probably just in my head but this tastes like it was put in oak barrels with brett and shipped across the ocean like a real traditional English IPA from the 1800's, in a good way. Herbal on the nose with tart sour citrus flavor notes, almost oaky with some sulfur. Pretty interesting stuff. Nice Emperial IPA from Stone. Cheers!

Rockstar Farmer Stillwater

 

Celebrator recently made its way to my local government monopoly store and when drinking it I'm struck by how similar it is to Carnegie Porter made by Carlsberg Sweden. It's fuller bodied as one would expect of a 18.5% OG beer, but flavorwise they are very similar. I suspect that the malt bills are very similar, whilst both are bottom fermented and lagered.

 

Don't know which I'm enjoying more-last night's Designated Survivor or this beer.

 

Totally in love with this beer at almost 16 months. I still have 6 downstairs but wish I had 20.

 

As well as can be expected!

 

Something tells me you're not going to post a half dozen examples of this one like some of your other recent beers. Not that I'm complaining about consistency – I'm hoping @PatrickCT buys a case of SNPA right after the holidays!

 

Slow time of the year at work. So, I spend some more time in the kitchen each day.
