Also my sons birthday is tomorrow. He is turning 1. His party is actually Saturday. But celebrating tonight.

Definitely not what I was expecting. Super tart and sorta sour. Waaaay better than the Ginger Bigfoot, imo. Different but good.

    Cheers Folks!

Gouden Carolus Cuvée Van De Keizer 2013

First time trying this and I'm very impressed as usual from most Belgians . I generally like the dark ones, but this is a nice middle ground.
My friends in Belgium will be proud, now I need to work on the glassware .

Not sure I'll be able to finish the bomber after the High Westie, but I'll give it my best shot . :stuck_out_tongue::astonished::grinning:

Bought a sixer of this today - those two bottles I had the past coupla days were really great - one of my stores treats it as a 1 bottle limit, offered from behind the counter to select customers  - my other store has a row of sixers on the shelf... :astonished: :stuck_out_tongue: Go figure the distribution...

Bitter cold day here that I was subjected too more than I would have chosen to be. The winds have been higher than the temperature. Dove into the cellar for this 2015 bottle to warm up by the fireplace with

Picked this up today in NC after bypassing it last time I was up that way. On that trip I opted for something called McKinzies Mill which I thought was horrible and then saw @FriedSlug drinking Hop on Top what seemed like everyday on BA, I knew I had screwed up. Happy I bought it this time. This is good stuff although there are some idiots on Untapped that rated it 2.75 & 3.0, I'd hate to see what they rate a bad beer or maybe they were drinking draft and the lines were dirty.

That was the identical situation I ran into down here . A customer next to me struck up a conversation and was pointing out a bunch of ipas and I saw Lagunitas Brown Shugga on the shelf . I recommended he try it and he passed when I saw sixers of High Westie next to them . I said you should grab one of these as they are limited everywhere else . He passed again !! Ohh well I guess I'll have to drink them for a awhile
I could drink these one a day for 8-9 months of the year if they were available

Picked up a 4 pack of the Neopolitan for the Mrs. The other is day 8 from the December calendar, and is yet another example of why I don't think nitro beers are a good idea.

There are certain days where you 'need' a beer. Some pundits will say it's a choice and, to that I say, fine. I'm choosing to drink. I need
some sunshine to take away this black cloud hanging over me, BAs. Let's get larrrrge!
