Why are you asking? Purely curious...

The reality is that we don't have many reviewers in NC. We don't hype our beers the way to boost their trade value like they do in other places. Remember we are the valley of humility between the two pillars of conceit.

Doesn't humble-bragging about one's humility negate said humility?

I opened a bottle of Spectrum 4 last night, the coffee one, and I didn't get a lot of coffee taste to it. The coffee was more pronounced when it was on tap at the brewery during the release. The bottle last night tasted like normal Event Horizon.

Has anyone else experienced this or is this just me?

Drinking #4 right now and experiencing the same thing. Heavy on the chocolate, but the coffee just isn't there. Still delicious, but not what I was expecting.

Hey everyone aren't we supposed to be hyping it up?? (yeah so I had #4 last night and had the same exact thoughts. Coffee came through slightly as it warmed)

I've not opened a bottle of #4 yet, but these bottles are 3 months old, so more subtle adjunct additions are likely to be faded/less intense at this age.

It's going to take well over a year for the damn fireball cinnamon to calm down.

Yes, that one does not count as a subtle adjunct addition. I find that cinnamon also tends to hold on for a long while, so I'm not sure it will 'cool off' much at all.

And for those that still have a bottle of last years cinnamon? That sombitch has calmed down and is drinking GREAT right now.

Tried a round of Spectrums recently and the Cinnamon has definitely come around.
