Nope. They just keep doing them later and later. Helles other people and another peach shake? The #lotsofcanning makes me think it'll be a bigger release (3-4 beers) and then they take off next week.

You're early a day  They announce Tuesday's typically for Wednesday releases.
On that note...how great it would be if they canned saisonhands.

I really badly want them to can any saisons. Canned saisons are less common but other breweries do it.

    edit: Oblivex is great

I'm not sure why they would can SaisonHands though since Ourison is pretty readily available in bottles all the time? Isn't that just SaisonHands with extensive time in the foudres?

They already have enough QC issues without introducing saison yeast to their canning line...

Its not even that, its just bottle-conditioned SaisonHands, its the same beer when it goes into the bottles.

I would assume some people are looking for more beers they can trade. Aluminum is lighter than glass and would be cheaper to ship. Otherwise, just buy the saisons up on the shelf. You don't have to wait in lines for them, and they've been fine quality wise.

True, that just seems silly though as well since this way you can match up bottle to bottle, I don't know I just have no interest in drinking a saison out of a can. Of course that probably means that everyone will start canning saisons immediately, I am sure some already are. I agree with it more on the yeast end of things though in that pretty much anything that isn't a straight ale or lager coming out of Tired Hands these days has various microflaura attached to it.

You know I was sitting here trying to think of one that was local to me so as to not look like a fool and I walk by this at Wegman's in the summer every week haha. Sly Fox is definitely a place I need to revisit. I was all about them like when I first moved up here almost a decade ago and I haven't had anything by them in years.

Their variety pack of cans is a good value choice to pick up when going to a summer BBQ.

Ichor is much better than you'd expect for an American brewed Quad, especially after a year in the cellar. And considering it's $9 for a 750ml compared to $15+ for some of the Belgians, I pick it up occasionally - it was my Thanksgiving dinner beer as I think that style of beer is great to pair with a rich holiday meal.

don't forget this one -- the reason they had to change the name to SaisonHands in the first place

Foundation in Maine cans everything they do, at least that I've seen, which includes a number of saisons.

Helles and Hophands together is definitely deliberate and a cool idea and is a step toward sustainable sanity. An average-enthusiasm-level beer fan can now have a reason to go to the Ferm on a Wednesday night, have some dinner and some brews, then head home with a couple of four packs with zero hassle. As a brewery visit should be.
