I had that at the source before they started bottling it. This is 3-4 years ago. Can't recall. I literally got larrrge that day. Oh, my point: It blew my mind the first time I had it on draft.

At my old watering hole in Jacksonville, splitting a bomber of Funky Buddha's Last Snow with my favorite bartender. No wifi so I'll try to post a pic later tonight when I get back to St. Pete. Cheers!

My wife's new favorite Christmas beer and day 13 from the beer calendar for me while the slow cooker soup finishes cooking.

    Hey BA's

Cold and snowy day here...supposed to get frosty as hell over the next few days - single digits etc!

Unlike some of our new prez-elects cabinet picks, I am not a "climate denier", I believe in Climate change, Global Warming and this beer right here...

He's always been a favorite actor of mine... One o' those guys that's been in a million movies, usually quirky, usually dying... :stuck_out_tongue: Reservoir Dogs and Fargo come to mind...

This scene always cracks me up...

Also Rex and Rob Ryan's birthday (53) - these guys have gotta be a riot to hang with...

Wouldn't wanna foot the bill at dinner though...

Great football action this past weekend. Giants flexing some muscle :grimacing:, Steelers getting a leg up on Baltimore :sunglasses:; but don't the Jets know its okay to lose now? The time has passed for winning - you're in the running for a draft pick...

Finished my run just seconds before the heavens opened and the rain gods let fly on the hood. Cool down complete, I'm sharing some time with my alter ego and two unexpected, but very welcome guests.

Hit up a new local brewery today: 2 Feet Brewing. Despite my love of IPAs, it's nice to see a brewery that is trying different styles. Tried a couple and both were pretty solid.

First up was Banana Bread Weizenbock. Very nice moderate strength weizenbock.

And then tried a Chocolate Pumpkin Stout. Pretty decent. Wish it was a little more full bodied but drinkable for sure on this cold December day.

Chilly and just had some rain pass through the area. Hope it doesn't ice over the roads tonight. Makes for a good night for a solid beer though. Stone's new collaboration with Hardywood and Ardent, Give Me Stout or Give Me Death. Not kidding when they say aggressively hopped, this is the hoppiest stout I've had, makes for an interesting balance as I get the sweetness of the berries right before the bitterness of the hops. Pretty solid beer.

Well, about the only positive thing about a cold wood shop is the beer will never get too warm! :grimacing: Some power tools and a 2012 cellar extraction ...

Ever frequent Engine 15 in Jax Beach? They have a Belgian Quad aged on plums - Heavy Engine Aged on Plums - you should consider. It's a winter seasonal so not sure if its out yet. Hope to get my hands on some when I mule Junior back to Gainesville after the holidays.
