I had a #5, this one looks alot better. That Smokestack series (750ml) is some very fine shit.

    Cheers!

This winter, I think a steady supply of red and brown ales are in order. Ah, here's one now.

Trying this one courtesy of @jeffgott. Other Half/Monkish collab Blowin' Up The Spot TIPA. Lots of stone fruit and citrus. The alcohol is there but not out of control. Super delicious beer and very thankful to be able to try it. Thanks man!

Changing things up on the palate just a bit. It's been a while since I've had a black IPA. This one is pretty good. A lot of hops in the aroma with a nice chocolatey coffee roasted malt flavor to balance things out. Very nice. Cheers!

What's up everyone? Enjoying this after a looooooooong day at work. This is so amazing, and didn't want to sit on it too long. The spices blow me away. Cheers all.

So much hazy. One of the thickest IPAs I've ever seen. It's so nice to have something unique in a style that's getting sorta.. Commonplace..

Great effort from Monkish and Tired Hands. 2 of my faves..

Is that what that meant? I wasn't sure.

Tasting this with my son. Curiosity satisfied. I appreciate what he did with this.

For any serious geeks like me, this is a great book. The first chapter is about this beer. Cheers!

After two weeks in the field and no beer, grabbing a sixer of this was a welcome back home gift to myself along with the fancy new glassware!

Just finished dinner, and before that I wrote up some tasting notes on Frost Beer Work's Lush DIPA. It's really damn good. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/39297/204942/?ba=fmccormi#review

And I gotta say, I've been really fortunate with the last three DIPAs I've tasted and written up. They've all been well beyond excellent, in my opinion. Stone's Unfiltered Enjoy By (the VA Prototype edition), Grimm's Light Wave, and now Frost's Lush. Damn good beer!

    Saude, galera.

    Big is an understatement.
I'd like to raise my glass to a compadre I use to listen to him and Martin Sargent years ago on a small podcast called Infected. Quasi ToTo Ricky Kang. R.i.p Gator.

I found another barleywine I like! Tons of floaties in this one.

Hey @Lingenbrau, I think I really need to get some Christmas glassware before next year's calendar. I'll gladly accept your cast-offs, which are likely better than anything I would find.
