I've got nothing. Too much wastewater in the brain today.

Not sure if the song has anything to do with the beer name (have a feeling it might), my mind went immediately here ...

After buying some Jägermeister today, I decided to go with beer anyway. Had a Sweet Action that's been in the fridge a few weeks hiding behind the Starbucks coffee beans.

    But thinking of this...

By one and done, I meant one full big ass bottle of this to myself over the course of the night, regardless of how I feel about it. Cheers!

Moving on heard this song earlier. Still one of my favorite from these guys. I think it's because it is a Chrstien Mc Vie forward song

Evil Twin's Copy Paste....like, wow. Tried it and fell in love. Glad I was able to snag a crowler for purchase at work before we ran out. This beer is so great, and IPA's especially, have to be really really good for me to actually buy them (and not just buy a one-off to check them off for reviews).

Really great citrus notes here, Orange Julius-like. You can see the haze is impenetrable. So delicious, and the 8% is deceptively hidden...

Nice Scottish ale as usual. Flavors of caramel, toasted bread, and light honey/nutty malts; with some mild lemon/citrus and herbal/floral/spicy hops; with underlying pear, plum, apple yeast fruits. Light herbal/spicy balancing bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied; nice grainy/bready creaminess in the mouthfeel. Light hop stickiness and dryness. A bit crisp. Very well balanced. Very pleasant and drinkable. Far from the best in the style I've had, but always worth grabbing a few every year for me. Very enjoyable.

This is awesome stuff! Flavors of big toasted coconut, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, dark bread, and light herbal hops. Light herbal hop/roasted balancing bitter finish; with a really great creamy/silky medium bodied mouthfeel. Super smooth and very flavorful for 5.5%. The coconut flavors might come off too strong to some people, but I found them to be in really great balance with the base porter flavors across the board. This is the fresh batch, will definitely be buying more! This is a good replacement for Death By Coconut for me, along with the Blackrocks Coconut Brown(even though I still have more of the Oskar Blues)

Fantastic batch this year! Flavors of big juicy grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, and pine hops; with moderate light honey/bready malts; and dank floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish. Very smooth and sticky/resinous hop mouthfeel, with a fair amount of grainy malt creaminess. Increasingly drying with some lingering resins after the finish, but never astringent. This tastes nearly identical to Hopstache right down to the malt profile(minus the intense grapefruit peel notes of course), but is very balanced between citrus and tropical hop flavors; with a nice malt backbone. Tons of Mosaic, Simcoe, and Columbus hops going on here. Need to grab way more of these. Only 2 months old at the moment.

Incredible! Huge flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, mint, fudge, caramel, molasses, bourbon, toasted oak, vanilla, and some herbal notes from the mint. Light-moderate herbal/roast bitterness, bourbon/oak spice, and cooling mint character on the finish. Great bitter/sweet balance. Full bodied creamy/silky mouthfeel, with some light sticky/chalky roasted notes as well. Touch of roasted dryness. Dangerously smooth, only lightly warming alcohol for 10%. I think the balance of the coffee, mint, and barrel character against the stout grain bill is pretty much perfect; just like last year. Glad there is so much on the shelf all over the place right now, along with most of the other Odd Sides Barrel stouts. I already bought 2 more last weekend, and will totally buy more. Hazels seemed to disappear the fastest, but this one is still readily available.

I never thought this would be good. Love the base beer, I think it needs a little bit more peppermint.

Kilt Flasher from Devil's Backbone. I've been wanting to try this one for a while but only just got around to it this year -- glad I did, though! I liked it right away, but I definitely think I ended up appreciating it more by the end of the six-pack. Letting it warm up a bit rather than drinking at fridge temperature is definitely recommended -- warmer temperatures really make the caramel/toffee malt flavors come out.

May just have to go back and get another pack of these before they vanish from the shelves in the next month or so -- I wonder how this will age? My guess is probably pretty well, considering it's 8% ABV and very malt-focused.
