I was tempted to make the next BIF round one where everyone receives @Elkevjoe as a target, but I'm not sure I'd want to see the aftermath of that. So here we go, classic round with a couple of my favorite elements stolen from past rounds... Newbies BIF Round 6 Minimum requirements - 144 oz. of beer rated 85 or higher (or 4.1+ rAvg if there are too few scores for a rating) unless a it's a want (in which case, just send it). Basically send a box you'd be happy to receive yourself. Shipping window - Last week of January, box should arrive no later than Saturday, Feb. 4 Special rules - 1) Wrap a minimum of one bottle so that your target can do a blind tasting. Target should post a VBS/VCS of wrapped beer while trying to guess said beer. Blind tastings would be done within 30 days of delivery. There are lots of ways to conceal bottles/caps/cans but extra advice can always be shared and provided. 2) Include at least one piece of local brewery swag (local = in your state). This should be a glass, shirt, or other (in case your target expresses interest in another specific type of swag, like tin tackers, whatever the hell those are). Send me a BM with details before January 1: Name/address (specify work or home)/untappd/likes/dislikes/shirt size/swag preference (glass, shirt, other)/shipping date restrictions. For any newbie newbies looking to join (yes, we ALWAYS want fresh blood), a couple of notes. The general requirement is that you have at least 5 positive trade transactions under your belt. If not, let me (or the group) know and we'll find someone to sponsor you. There's always someone willing to step up, so don't let this hold you back from joining. There's also an expectation that pictures of your impressive BIF haul are posted to this thread so we can all drool over the beer your received.

Hey everyone, I am Matt from Richmond, VA. I was referred to this group by @MTKATL, who I have traded with multiple times over the last year. I am an avid trader through BA and various FB groups. In addition, I have been home brewing for 3+ years. I really enjoy learning about new breweries and trying new beers.
