Oh the days when I thought a 4-pack of furious was a beer splurge! Coming off cases of keystone in college... it was.

 

I had it at the brewery yesterday and was really impressed. Not overly acidic, but a balanced and well done sour. I'm not sure how much $ it is going for but I paid $8 for an 11 oz pour and enjoyed it enough to get another pour...

 

Dropped my wife off at a hair appointment and did a public service window shop at TW Maple Grove...My observations : 10 bottles of Baptista on the shelf!, Fulton Culture Project 1, Lips of Faith Clutch, 6 packs of Schells Cave aged lager, and New Holland Mischievous II with peaches only $5. Enjoy!

Interesting thing happened, guy I checked out with saw I had a Baptista held it up and had another employee set one set aside for himself. Guess that's where all the rare releases go, to their employees. I never get anything from there and get off the bus a block away.

I think I saw almost $20 for a 750ml. A little rich for my blood.

 

I know everyone's wallet probably needs a break, but I have to say that this year's release of Before the Dawn is awesome! I went to the brewery just intending to have a glass and that's it but it was so good I had to buy a bottle for $20.

 

Liquor Barrel on West 7th also has a cellar sale going on right now as well. In their picture I can see Darkness 15/16, Black Note, Big Bad Baptista, AB Noir, Rodenbach Alexander, High Westified, Lizard of Koz, BADSDB, and Backwoods Bastard.

 

Wow looks like BG Xmas has a ton of great stuff by their couple pics. Super bummed I'll be missing out on all those goodies this year!

Anyone seen any fresh PseudoSue and Todd the Axeman around the Shakopee,Savage, Prior Lake area? A friend was coming into town that wanted to try.
