    Probably going to be a one and done for the daylight hours with this big boy as I got a 6:30 call that junior's school is closed due to a personnel/transportation shortage. Looks like we're all staying home today (except the very jealous Mrs).

    Having had this on tap at the Barrel House and thought "Wow, this really does taste like a gingersnap cookie" - I was a little disappointed. It's still a wonderful spiced rum barrel aged dark sour... Just not exactly what I had my heart set on when I popped the cork.

    I decided to take the dog out as it warmed up to -6 now. A heat wave compared to the low of -11 when I woke up at 5:30. Going to lay low and have a relaxing day for a change. Enjoy yours!

    Survived another cold and windy weekend at the Dutch seashore with lots of outdoor exercises. With just one beer last Friday-night I must admit I was looking a bit forward to this one :slight_smile:

    La Trappe Quadrupel normally is widely available here in the Netherlands (it's a Dutch beer). But recently Quadrupel it's a bit scarce. The limited production is one of the charms of Trappist beers you can say.
