No cans for me Friday! Stouts if I can make it there...

Nowadays, never more than 1 4 pack unless I absolutely love the beer.

With limits seemingly being a case at the various NYC breweries, not a bad idea to form a group of 4 or 6 and split release duties. At that rate, I'd still probably end up with more beer than I usually drink.

True, even then I'm still not getting beer from everywhere I'd ideally like to try, and I'm opting for only one or two of the options at a brewery.

Having said that, it's a good problem for me to have.

Sounds great, I'll check this place out next time i go to the taproom. As an Italian living in NYC I'm always looking for good (real) italian food, plus I can use it as an excuse to lure my wife down there.
Alas, I'll sit the next release out, never been a fan of green nuggets and to lazy to move for just some mylar.
any Idea on the 3rd anniversary release? January something?

I hope it's cellared cans of boogie board stuntz. That "new space" nobody has seen is actually full of the leftovers from each BBS release.

    Hahahaha

I feel like I'm one of 12 people that actually really likes Boogie Board Stuntz. Great summer BBQ beer.

I'll be happy if the new space lets them produce more beers like this. In 16 oz cans, 4.5-5.5% beers are perfect after work beers. Every time I try that with one of their (D)IPAs, I end up burning something when I make dinner....definitely the beer's fault!

With the new Mylar Bargs can batch coming Friday...I actually opened my last can of Mylar from the last release (10/7). It got lost in the back of my fridge. Still tastes pretty damn good...

Caputo's is great, amazing mozzarella and ridiculous fresh ricotta, but doesn't Arthur Ave have one of the only fresh burrata spots in the country? Hard to compete with that...

Not gonna lie this Apple Brandy Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout thing seems kinda gross on one hand but a lot of people really liked that variant of BQE so I'm sorta curious too

May I ask which fresh Burratta spot you are referring to up there? I know that DiPalos on Grand makes it daily and you can even buy the inside part ( Stracciatella), that they will pack on the spot for you

Anyone know the best place to get some good Stilton?

Calandra's is the place in BX for fresh burrata. Di Palo's makes it too, but it's not easy to find elsewhere!

Beer and cheese advocates- I love this place! Seriously though, had no idea I could get fresh stracciatella anywhere.

1 Person goes to each Finback, LIC, Singlecut, Kane, Carton, OH, Threes, Sand City, Interboro, etc

and we will all meet at Grand Central with 10 or so cases and divvy them up. :sunglasses:

Good idea.. but wouldn't want to be the guy having to wait on the OH releases. Did this with someone for the Finback and Singlecut release two weeks ago, felt bad for the guy waiting an hour on Saturday morning when I walked into Singlecut with no lines on Friday night.

Stinky's on Smith Street should have it. Close-ish to Other Half. Really helpful cheesemongers.

Shout out to Stinky for some of the best cheese and meat I have tasted, cool people, great beer, good samwiches, free tastings. Can't be beat.
