Hey guys, I want to send some beer to a friend in N.C. but am not sure what to gather up. What would fellow BA's in North Carolina like to see that Ohio has access to ? Thanks for helping.

    I'd say Jackie O's stuff.

I would do a beer distribution compare on seekabrew.com

Hoof Hearted comes to mind though off the top of my head.

Bodhi is also great option in addition to the already mentioned Jackie O's, Hoof Hearted and Fat Heads.

I think Fat Heads beers are already available in NC. I could be wrong and, if so, it is just a matter of timing as they have announced they will be distributing into the state.

I thought I heard Fat Heads was opening a brewery in Charlotte.

Not yet as far as I am aware but I have heard they will be coming when they open their place in CLT (with CLT initially then spreading out).

Yes they are opening a brewey here, but I haven't seen distro yet. I want some fresh juju so bad.

I heard early 2018 for the brewpub to open in CLT, so I'm thinking distro close to the same time.

I can't speak for everyone in NC, but Peace on Earth and good will towards men. Is that a Ohio thing? We all could use it.

    Personally, I would want:
    Jackie Os
    Fat Heads
    Deschutes
    Brew Kettle
    Upland
    Hoof Hearted

Bonus would be any of the over 15% beers that have been released/are coming out. TORIS comes to mind, but Elevator Death is another solid option. They should be getting the new batches of 120 Minute and WWS with Vanilla, assuming they come in at 18%.
