Happy holidays, BAs. What a hopped-up gem. Comes in high on the ABV spectrum but somehow still eminently drinkable.

Look forward to this beer every season.... but Sam Adams completely ruined it for me with this debacle of label art. #stickwiththeclassic

Good morning BAs! Today's breakfast beer:

I re-reviewed this today and it falls exactly where it did a year ago. Somewhere there's a thread about re-reviewing I'll have to find... Today is Christmas Pudding manufacturing day - after Mrs. Lizard gets up, that is. That means for me it'll be burnt fingers and kitchen clean-up, hauling great containers of boiling water, and listening to endless bitching. Time for some Bob Rivers:

I'd work my way down the cask side first! They all look good.

Staying with the holiday themed glassware for the next few days. Being forced to run some last minute holiday errands today, this will certainly ease the pain.

I'd be with you normally but I've had all the cask options before. The place I'm at now owns a sister pub (my regular) they have the same five taps on hand pull but no keg offerings at all. I always like to try something new.

Because of the distribution laws in Pennsylvania making it easier to get 6 and 12 packs, we've been slaughtering a case of Wake N Bake and a case of Headhunter. First world problems.

Did break last night for the Lizard of Koz and the Martians Kidnap Santa!, which had a great name, but a weird flavor. The Lizard was awesome.

Also managed to get given a Bud Lite last night which was more inoffensive than the Cascadian Devil, which tasted like malt water with a charcoal briquette thrown in it. Never thought I'd use BL to get a taste out of my mouth.

Morning all! My office is closed today, but I'm here working trying to finish up some projects - lucky me. Since its quiet here, I decided that some liquid breakfast would make working a bit easier.
