Not sure, but on Thursday they'll have an IPA called Jim is Working Hard and Bon Bon 4 packs at 4 PM. LIC BP release same day. Threes too. Interboro as well. OH on Saturday. Grimm bottles of Castling. These weeks of beer are intensifying.

This particular beer is odd to me, as it's only like 5-6% ABV and getting the barrel treatment. Eric Mocha is a must-drink though.

I think it was mentioned in last months thread but they had custom 12 packs made for the cans. The original ig post about cans detailed they would be sold in 12 packs or single cans but that was changed to 4 packs shortly there after. There were many on here, myself included that event sold on 12 packs and dropping 60 bucks

I remember reading something to that effect, but never saw it come into fruition....I went by there that weekend, probably should have asked about it.

Curious to see what these things are going to look like.

Glad to see this new IPA is priced at the normal NYC market value.$16/4-pack. Might consider swinging up there Thursday after LIC.

It's actually a session IPA so Singlecut has overpriced it like the rest of their beers.

Hey can someone who buys Bon Bon cans tonight report on the beer? I found the last batch of bottles slightly off (way more transparent, slightly lesser taste). Don't want to drive all the way to Queens for cans unless it's back to OG Bon Bon...thanks

Bon Bon is more hazy than last batch for sure. But not full on murk like I remember it on tap a year ago. The taste and nose are less juicy than what I recall from the best batches I've had. Booze not really well hidden. Bitterness seems a little more prominent, but that could just be because there is less hop juiciness to balance it out. The galaxy may be overshadowed by bitterness, alcohol, and malt. Still a good DIPA but it gives me more of an unfiltered west coast 2.0 vibe than a NE style. Got two 4 packs. Will have to revisit. Also had Jim is working hard at the taproom. It was more of a balanced IPA with some bitterness and a touch of malt, rather than low abv juice bomb I was hoping for. I definitely prefer the Billy 18-watt which is yellow hazy and juicy.

this is pretty spot on, not how it used to be, but much better than last time. the SSMS and WAGH cans were way better.

i was not a huge fan of the Jim. 18-watt is a far better session IPA. when those cans drop, i'll be sprinting to the taproom.
