Breakfast beer!

Lets just call it following protocol.

 

I've never had a beer in the a.m. myself. Beer has never been something I drink to "get going". However, I may be switching to 2nd shift soon so . . . .

 

Not for me.

But to each, his own.

 

I'm planning my New Year's Eve breakfast beer as we speak. I think because of some of pansy ass's responding , I'm gonna drink a World Wide Stout.....cheers.

 

Depends on what you're doing that day. However, if you post to the "currently drinking thread," your first (and really only) choice of music is "Beer for Breakfast" by The Replacements.

Beer for or with a full Breakfast is damn good actually.
I drank many beers in the mornings, I fish alot.

Funny you should ask as I had a beer for breakfast this morning. Wake-n-Bake Coffee Imperial Stout by Terrapin. I've been on vacation this week so I said what the heck and did it. It did give me a buzz. I switched to coffee after one. Cheers!

 

Founders Breakfast Stout is my morning beer of choice.

 

I do and I love to do it! I love the lager for breakfast, in particular the dortmunder export lager. I also have been known to appreciate an oatmeal stout first thing in the morning. Before coffee does not really mean anything to me as I am a now famous insomniac. I drink coffee all day and night long and sometimes it puts me to sleep. Beer goes with every meal.

 

And NBS which also likes to start early! let's have the beer NOW!

 

Pretty rare that i do it, but last weekend i had a dfh beer for breakfast for breakfast. Along with breakfast stouts, Ive also done the beermosa thing with half ipa and half orange juice in the past a handful of times. Pretty tasty.

 

I have had a beer for breakfast on a few occasions. It washes down bacon & eggs quite well. I've also used a dark/stout style beer to enhance a Bloody Mary. Cheers!

 

The clock is irrelevant to me. I base my drinking based on my schedule/responsibilities. So yes. All the time.

 

Nothing beats coffee for breakfast; my go-to is Caffè corretto (espresso w/a splash of booze, such as grappa or sambuca.

 

Absolutely you should. I'm enjoying a Stone Xocoveza as I'm typing this. However if you're like me and need your job, I don't recommend having one before work. Cheers!

 

Did it once, Kentucky Christmas Morning on Christmas morning, after having my usual coffee. More for the novelty sake, though it certainly was helpful getting through all the Skype requests by grandparents to watch the little one open gifts, etc.
My wife just thought it was amusing that I had a beer that early on and being a holiday, didn't care.

 

Anything with coffee usually works for me, especially coffee stouts.
