What beer is being consumed in this pic?

    Sorry, not the best picture but this is my grandfather and is taken circa 1940. He lived in St. Louis but was from Minnesota if that helps. I'm trying to determine what beer this is.

    Perhaps @jesskidden could shed some light on this. Kinda blurry and it's upside down. Maybe it's a Lemp/Falstaff product or something?

    Cropped it a bit and flipped it over. Definitely a white/light colored label with what appears to be at least 2 words above his thumb in the photo below. The bottom of the label below has an image or more writing across the width of the label. Might not even be beer possibly. <shrugs>

    Nice work! Columbia Brewing Company St Louis MO, make sense with OP's mention of St Louis too.
