I think we will see an increase in better hoppy beers. Not that the ipas were bad the last 3 or 4 years. When is it going to peak? Hoppy beers that is.
Last thing I wish is for everyone to #drinkindependent

 

Hoppy beers are part of the beer drinking lexicon now, its just a matter of styles and tastes. What I think we'll see is more of our local breweries capitalizing on the haze for days juice bomb craze.

I'm looking forward to the new Maui Brewery Restaurant in Honolulu. I'm hoping for a tap room from a Cellarmaker or some other NorCal brewery to open in the South Bay Area. Or even a good brewery. One can hope.

 

Rumor has it that your wish will be granted....

 

Beachwood IPA six packs; easy to get juice/haze bombs; more Barrelworks distribution beers and Lagunitas value buys like Citrusensis 12 packs.

 

Wishful optimism, but I would hope the beer bro culture will lessen in the new year...

I'd love to see more consistent intrastate distro. So many good things going on in both Socal and Norcal, would be great if capacity and distro could share that wealth consistently. Even if that has to be draft vs. packaged format.

Know this is the Pacific forum, but would love to see more of the OR stuff down here, and maybe Melvin once the Bellingham spot is up and cranking (fingers crossed).

Would lastly also love an update to the archaic growler laws and align them more with other states. Would happily support a local Growler Guys-type-establishment in addition to the local beer shop.

Agree on the Oregon beers. I have seen more Caldera which is under rated. Also, I totally agree with having growler stations at bottle shops. I love going to Washington and getting a growler from a bootle shop

my small town of ~66k people (a wine town) might be getting 3 new breweries perhaps more by year's end. City of Lodi. So I hope that goes well.

 

Excited for Modern Times Anaheim for League pickups. I'm in Anaheim almost every month and while I love San Diego, the Anaheim location would save me a ton of time. I would still visit the Fermentorium on occasion though just to see Michael Jackson and Bubbles.
