So glad I have this choice now, one of the best value DIPAS going.

 

Morning BAs, and so on to what is for many of us a bonus day off I would imagine. One last (or first) holiday day to lead into the new year.

One last holiday tradition today as i'm going with friends to watch 'Die Hard' on the big screen.

Feel like I need a little something to wake up with - this beer and song will do the trick

 

Still a damn fine beer but alot more local viable options these days....

Figure since the eggs contain no meat, I'd get it from the beer (scrapple, supposedly).

My first Backwoods Bastard is also my 200th beer. And, I haven't cracked a beer open before noon in as least a year (albeit just barely today). Anyway...

Just put a couple bone-in turkey breasts on the smoker and turned on the Rose Parade. Time to make some late breakfast and kick back for a day of football and fun with the kids. Last day of vacation.

Really been trying to find a "session" IPA to my liking. This one okay but not what I'm seeking.

 

Sorry for the late post and the inappropriate glass... the snifter was in the dishwasher and after drinking this bad boy last night alone I pretty much fell asleep one the card game (partially visible in the background) was over. But better late than never for the first beer of 2017.

This is the 2015 expedition, paid for by a Christmas gift of cash from my sister so I could get exactly what I wanted. At $19.95 I was going to hold off, this was good timing. However I was NOT so blown away by this one, so I will definitely not spend $29.95 for a barrel aged Yeti. I like Bigfoot, not so much Yeti, so if there is any chance the barrel aging didn't do that much it would be a waste.

 

Just curious, is there a bottling date on the back label?
If there is, what is the date?
