Cigar city has been available at the Oskar blues locations for a while now, FYI.

I guess more beer is better but I can think of a single regular release beer they make that I will purchase over our locals.

Invasion is one of the very best session IPA's in the country. Not sure I can think of a more refreshing beer on a hot summer day

Thanks, @McNazz. Laziness has stopped me from dropping in and checking. Besides, what I don't didn't know, I can't spend money on... :S

Is that a session IPA? Always thought it was an APA...a great one at that.

Invasion and their Helles would have a place in my drinking rotation, even with the abundance of great options available in Colorado. What that means in frequency? I don't know. Probably not enough that I would be their target audience for this move.

Good luck in Denver CCB, you'll need it.

I agree. I can't think of anything outside of their limited/seasonal releases that I would grab on the regular. I'm also a huge fan of Jai Alai, but our local game has been upped considerably since they first starting dropping during times like GABF when I felt the need to seek it out...I'm not sure I would choose anything CCB over Odd13, Melvin, etc.

Good question. Cigar City calls it a session but at 5% it probably fits what both you and I consider an APA. In any case, very refreshing. They make some non canned pale ales that are excellent as well though I imagine they won't be in distro to CO

I love Invasion, but having Hubert sitting on the shelf next to it, I'll never purchase.

I assume all of the stuff I would purchase won't be available in our shelves.

This is one of the few outside distros I personally wanted, but I don't see them doing great here.

I'm sure everyone wants the Zuke and Huna variants and we'll see Maduro and JA sitting around. Personally, I want Maduro, their Cider line-up, and White Oak Jai Alai. For that matter, as long as normal Jai-Alai isn't 6 months old I'll probably buy that one regularly. If they ever make the Oatmeal Cookie again, I'll be claiming all of those for myself...assuming they stay in our distro more than a few months.

Hopefully they send fresher cans than the September canning date I saw on Jai Alai last month at the Tasty Weasel.

Yes, we have several excellent local beers. But if you haven't yet, try Jai Alai. But make sure it's fresh.

The new CHUBurger in RiNo has Jai Alai on tap if anyone is so inclined. Not sure of any other CC beers on tap though.
