    I don't judge. Well, yes I do sometimes I guess. In your case at least :stuck_out_tongue:. To each their own. I myself am still guilty of indulging in my beloved Modelo's from time to time :wink:.

    Great picks, Escape from New York is a superb dystopian future flick with a kick ass soundtrack.
    such as this-->

    If I had to pick 4 I keep going back to they would be,
    • Akira
    • Alien
    • Starship Troopers
    • The Thing (John Carpenter's)

    Yes, but Americans don't really have a "go-to Norwegian!" theme in mind. I know when we visited Norway last year, the Swedish Chef was our only frame of reference for silly accents. And it wasn't that far off, to be fair. :slight_smile:

    But holy crap, Norway far and away was the most embarrassing place for a uni-lingual American to visit. Every single person spoke fluent English. As important as respecting culture and linguistics is to me, I was quite humbled. (Pronouncing Nøgne ø and 7 Fjell was easier than I expected.) I found it much easier to understand Norwegians than Scots, funny enough. :grinning:

    Besides, it's not like he compared you to FINLAND!!! :wink:

    Well into the evening over here and I have grabbed the pink elephant to cool off and watch 'It' (penny wise the clown ). Will probably laugh at it at my advanced age but this will bring some memories...

    Cheers!

    First up this afternoon Fore River Brewing Pleasantdale Pale Ale. I'm trying to remember if they had this on draft last time I went to the brewery/if I've tried it before. Either way I'm glad to see more of their beers on the shelf.

    Cheers!

    I will probably never bowl a perfect game (300), but I'm drinking this Fulton 300 Mosaic IPA, so I have that going for me (which is nice). Cheers!

    I don't mind the Finns. The fucking Danish, though... :angry::slight_smile:
    Sweden is the same way, language wise. I have a couple of American friends who lived here, who just could not learn Swedish, because as soon as anyone heard they were American, they switched to English. It has a lot to do with the fact that we subtitle movies and TV, so we actually hear what English is supposed to sound like. Americans don't get subjected to a lot of Scandinavian languages, understandably...

    I wasn't gonna drink any more tonight, but just having one of those nights when I get sucked into music. And nothing pairs better with music than beer. This is my first beer from Barlingbo on the island of Gotland. Galgbacken was the place where public excecutions took place way back in the late 60's...
