I'm not really bummed that I missed the release because (and don't shoot me) I've never had Regular Coffee before. I just tend to not drink beers that high of ABV. But I would love to grab one can to try or at least try it at the brewery sometime.

Does anyone know if they still have Irregular? I couldn't make the trip down on NYD and was planning to go down on Wed for my first visit. Unfortunately, I didn't catch that they were open on a Monday. :slight_frown:

Well according to Auggie yesterday, "we had irregular when we closed today."

Check their Facebook on Wednesday. They'll post a tap list and can availability at some point before they open.

    As Per Augie Carton
I would suggest not waiting til closing to get there though

Any idea when this should make it out to retail. Specifically super local Monmouth stuff if that makes a difference.

The buyrite in cranbury posted on their FB account that they already have theirs in. I don't know about Monmouth county though

Any idea of caffeine content in regular or irregular coffees?

Canals Lawrenceville had it. 1 - 4 pack pp. Last year I only managed 2 cans so this is a big upgrade :sunglasses: Thank you for the tip off that distro hit the area!

Literally here right now. They just sold out....and I missed it because I've been stuck in an hour of traffic. Flemington Wines sold out too by 6pm. Garys says Friday

Stopped at Canal's in Mt. Ephraim and they said they didn't get it in today, but said maybe tomorrow.

What's the reasoning behind the mixed 4 packs? I'm guessing Café y Churro is a much more popular beer and it spreads it around more, but why not just limit the allotments of that beer in full 4 packs if that's the case?

Please don't take this is a complaint just curious. I'm curious to try the Corretto but I am not the biggest fan of fennel or licorice. I'm also scarred by the flavor because every so often I accidentally buy the Toms of Maine Toothpaste that is Fennel, instead of my preferred peppermint, and they have virtually the same color label! Ok this isn't the toothpaste thread and I'm sure Coretto is great, and I have to try it first, but just curious behind this decision. I know it was done last year with Churro and Irish Coffee as well (both of which were awesome but Churro is elite elite amazing).

At the end of the day though like someone said above, there is SO much good beer available to us in this area now. If you miss out on a release you wanted, it sucks, but there is plenty to keep your fridge full and your belly happy.

No other reason than that's how I think the experience is fun.

Are there plans to do an Odub Citra variant any time in the near future?

You know what's good about beeradvocacy? When you can't make it to a release because it sells out faster than you thought, or you had work, or a personal incident, you can communicate with others that did manage to get some to trade it to you.

No one can make it to every release they want to. Hell most of the ones I wish I could make it to are multiple states away. If you're nice to people and meet people with similar tastes as you, you will never want for almost any beer. Just trade for it. Or do shares. Most of my friends pick up extra at releases and just give them away to each other or other people that are interested. I didn't make it to this release and four different people offered to give me some

My luck really sucks so far this year. My birthday was on the 31st, I got a vicious 102° fever day after, therefore missed out on my birthday present (Bruins tickets vs NJ devils on 1/2) and I missed out on the can release. Roger Wilco sold out of Carton in what seems like minutes. Same goes for the Spirits near my folks house in Bayville. To top things off I'm stuck at work without the equipment I need to do my job. I really hope this isn't a trend for the year. Sorry guys but I just had to vent.

Never tried regular coffee before but I'm a huge fan of everything they do. Hope I can get my hands on some next year...I've been fawning over this beer literally for years (moved away to AZ for about 4 years back in 2012, never got to try this one)

Hope you all have better luck than me!
