I can picture the line moving very slowly with 4 very similar yet different bottles on top of the cans. "Um, I'll take 2 of the ones with bourbon, 1 coffee, a vanilla, wait, what was the other one?"

As quickly as possible. Do you mean out of there as close to opening or least amount of time in line? If you want to be out of there as close to opening as possible probably get there around 6am if you want the least wait in line I would say get there around 1130

I honestly don't think it will be that bad. Considering the last stouts they put up lasted for about a week. Given that wasnt a collaboration but none the less it was barrel aged.

If it was just stouts I would agree. But I think the 2 cans will bring out the 6am #jerserywhalezcrew. These cans aren't new so I dont think a lot of people will be in line, but for some reason that group line up at 6am not matter what cans are released.

That's why I usually go with the "I'll take one of each" approach. Not many people catch on to that.

As much as I love Motueka+Galaxy and as appealing as the stouts are, I'm sitting this one out. Too many other things I need to do this weekend and too much beer in my fridge as is.

Holidays over + cold weather + New year's resolutions to drink less beer + 2 repeat cans = quieter release IMO. Big difference waiting 4 hours in 35 degrees vs 20 degrees.

want to try to be on my way home sooner than later. I was going to leave my house around 8am and get there just b4 9 and wait out the hour before opening in hopes i'm not too far back or that the line moves pretty quick. If it moves quick enough I might go put my stuff in the car and dip back in for some Forever Simcoe if its still on tap!

F trains are not running between Jay Street-Metrotech and Coney Island this and the next couple weekends. If you're taking the train from the city, plan on changing to the G train at Hoyt Schermerhorn (F trains are running via the C past Jay Street).

One last thing to note if you haven't done the change at Hoyt before, you can't just cross the platform- the Church Avenue bound G trains are on a different platform from the Euclid Avenue bound trains. I hope this doesn't insult anyone's subway intelligence; I sometimes, when in a hurry, still get mixed up changing there because it can feel counter-intuitive.

Also for those who make it out, The new brewery/taproom Folksbier just opened today. Its just a 10 minute walk from OH over @ 100 Luquer St. They open at Noon on Saturday. They are still very tiny .. but just figured I would mention in case anyone was interested to check out a new place.

I lurve you Other Half I really do, but got damn selling four variants with no discernible names on the same day is going to lead to a whole lot of this.

It really would be the perfect time to try a paper order form type of procedure a la Tree House.
