What is your beer glass count?

Dude, you don't have a problem. Just a hobby that no outside of this forum appreciates.

 

Working at a beer store, I get first pick on whatever comes in. I easily have 500+ glasses right now, and they're all in boxes because there's no room in the condo for them. Hoping when we buy a house I'll have a room for beer stuff and can build a shit ton of shelving.

 

You guys just became my go to defense when I get crap for bringing home a new glass.
I currently have a few over a hundred, all from breweries that I've visited.

 

Total square footage exceeds available space, and I keep buying more. It's insanity.

I've got probably 15 different pint glasses I've gotten for free at various brewery tap nights/promotional events, A couple tulip glasses from my favorite brewery, De Garde (including the Bu Kitty which is by far my favorite glass I own), A Ceramic "cup", 4 glass Grunts, 3 glass Growlers, and one Hydroflask growler.

my brother got me two Spieglau Beer tasting kits so
2x tulip, IPA glass, Wheat glass, and Lager glass,

2 half pints from Guinness Brewery
3 half pints from Hops n Grain
1 juice glass from Zwanze Day at JK

My count - too goddamn many. I posted a pic on Facebook of all the ones I wanted to give away. That got rid of a few. I took about 100 to work and gave them to the younger guys, many who were just settling in to their first real home. The rest went to Goodwill or the recycling bin. I kept about 100 - more than equal to the available shelf space we have.
It's cool that breweries are willing to give away promo glasses. Wish they'd think of something else now that I'm overstocked.

On display and in use = 37. Several duplicates in storage. <50 total.

 

Probably around 100 including shakers. I have maybe 30- 40 of those, 15 or 20 upstairs for usual usage, and a cabinet in the basement, probably 40 or 50 in there. Last I counted, I had about a dozen Ommegang glasses alone, so that boosts the total. I know I have a half dozen or so of the Duvel artist series, and I lost count of the rest.

 

Some of you guys have some crazy collections! Props to you. I personally have 15 ish. I have 4 tulips, 2 weizen, 2 snifter, 2 Pilsner, and pairs of others. I haven't really felt a need to add more, but I might need to reconsider.

I do have 8 Shaker pint glasses I'll use as a last resort (which is usually barely ever). These I keep for storage of bottle caps that I want to keep and some of my glassware cleaning devices ie lens clothe, homebrew bottle brush.
