New to Ohio (2017)

With Ohio getting the ball rolling on that 12% law, I would imagine 2017 will be leaps and bounds better. Cheers folks!

Hello Ohio, I hope to participate in this thread a lot more often than I did in 2016. I kept up and followed you guys but I was pretty silent for the most part . . . hope to change that in 2017.

Any one heard any news on what Fat Heads will be bottling over the next few months? I really wish they would bottle more stuff. I would like to see 'Hippy Sippy' hit 4-packs one day. Or even 'Prohibition Paulie' in 6'ers. Think we'll ever see that day come? Do I remember someone saying 'Dank Sinatra' will replace Shakedown?

Beer Releases
Award-winning Trail Head Pale Ale returns to bottles and will be distributed in 6-packs, 12-packs and cases. Look for it on shelves by the end of the week. Head Trip Belgian-Style Tripel is making an appearance in bottles for the first time. Look for 4-packs in mid-January. Plus, perennial favorite Hop Juju Imperial IPA returns in February. Stay tuned for details of its release!

Looks like Nugget Nectar is hitting the shelves in Cincinnati.

 

This is one brewery I am actually excited to see is coming to our area. Just hope it's not the dated stock from other areas. The hi-10 was one of my favorite beers I got to try this year.

 

Was in Toledo saturday and can vouch at Maumee Anderson's, Hopsecutioner, Rec Ale & Hi-5 cans were available. I'm holding out to try some Moo-hoo!

Excited to be more involved this year here. I saw some Mokasida Speedway Stout on tap in Columbus about a week ago.

 

Mokasida has hit NE Ohio strong over the past couple weeks, ending up at Lizardvilles, Craft Beer Bar, West Point Market, likely all over Cleveland. It's well worth a taste, possibly my favorite SS next to Vietnamese.

I'm pretty shocked something like that was able to get so well dispersed so quickly, considering how infrequently we used to get other Speedways.
