Kane Brewing (January 2017)

Dude she ripped into me about the Kane beer tonight. Then she's on this pearl party thing on Facebook. I was like, how much was that? $78 She can spend my money. I can't spend my money. That's what it boils down to.

 

We could go on for days. All wife jokes asife. I'm literally astonished at how good Kane is. It's only a matter of time before the hoards ruin it. I genuinely hope they keep up with the semisilent releases. I never want to see a folded chair in the parking lott

 

I hope they just silently drop ANTEAD. It's a lottery I can live with. I have my parking spot on the grassy null all picked out.

 

I'm going on vacation last week of January. If they drop it that Sat everyone will see a grown man cry

 

So do people think there is a solid amount of Party Wave left for Thursday?

 

was there at almost closing yesterday, sure looked like plenty to last till maybe friday if its not to crazy on thursday

 

Unfortunately the rumor mill forces that tri-state group (the ones that frequent other half every release) to crowd a Saturday Kane release. There were people there at 6am for Sunday and Mexican Brunch. Really people?

 

Cheers to Kane for the release, stopped in a 2pm-ish grabbed a few samples and then walked up with no line and got my cans. I opened a Party Wave last night and it was just as good as it was off the taps, had to let it warm up a bit though as it got way to cold in my car yesterday. I also think the labels on them are really awesome looking. I assume the price was so high on Third Reef due to the amount of hops needed to brew it. Party Wave I expected to be a bit lower, but I was okay with the cost, it is prob my fave IPA so I wasn't going to not buy. I would assume with Sneakbox begin a regular can we will see cost more along the same lines as HH and Overhead.

 

also really appreciate Kane pushing the release of the cans to at least Sunday because of the snow. You know people would have trekked there regardless and it was nice to see them put their customers and employee's safety first by closing early Sat and postponing the release until Sunday!

 

Hopefully it gets to the point that the regulars are usually available le and there is always one or two rotated ones in. I've said it once and I'll say it again. Kane you do everything perfect. Cheers

 

Anyone care to speculate as to what it's going to be like at open on Thursday? I have a chance to get there right after work and before going home. But if it's going to be a mess of people waiting in line to grab the new cans I will just pass and wait until Saturday. I don't necessarily need the new cans. I am just due for a visit to load up the fridge with whatever I can get

 

Those cans are a week old now. No one wants old stuff like that.

I'm just guessing that there will be a dozen people at opening. After that just a normal day. But I'm just guessing.

 

There wasn't a line at any point on Sunday so I wouldn't expect one at opening on Thursday. Of course, I could be wrong.

 

There'll probably be a small line at 5 like there usually is. Every Thursday... I have to wait behind like 4 people. Oh the struggle is sooooooooooo real.

 

I know this is all speculation but do people think it's worth it for me to drive an hour to Kane Thursday and get there 530 to 600?

Not sure how much was left.

 

I hate when these internal debates happen to me. So i'll try and help out, I went late Sunday and there was tons left. If they are out you still win cause you can get head high and overhead and growlers of whatever I feel like picking up. So really there is no reason not to go unless time is an issue or you want to do something else. Your drive might be a little rough if its during rush hour though. Cheers!

I think it will be fine tomorrow. Maybe this is the optimist in me but there is always a handful of people in line on Thursdays and with the production for the release date there should be cans early

 

I had my first chance to try Third reef and Party Wave tonight. Make the drive.
