2 year anniversary party January 13-14

    www.facebook.com/events/1628745434085768/

They make some really good sours, Guava Gose and Swanky Smack my 2 favorites so far.
Looking forward to trying some more of their stuff this weekend.

I live just far enough away from this place for it to be annoying. Like I want to get out there but I never do. That said I enjoy everything I've had by them.

Interesting - only 10 minutes from me. May be worth a stop this weekend.

It's a nice place as well, along with the variety of delicious beers. I expect to stop by for a taste or two.

What's a good recommendation for their non sour beers?

Bernie is a solid, drinkable (5%) milk stout.

I'll second Cozmo. Real solid Pale Ale.

Imperial Bernie bourbon barrel aged followed by the base beer.
Both are great. The Imperial BA is very good and everything is only $5 today. Woohoo.

Terrific brews. No guava gose on tap but BA Bernie and passion fruit smack were ridiculously good. I will be back.

Cozmo is really nice. Classic west coast pale ale. If you like Mazzie from Pollyanna, you'll like Cozmo. Those two beers have become my go to for pale ales along with restless years from temperance. Restless Years has a slightly different hop profile, but still has a malt profile to balance the hops.all three are excellent.

And don't get me wrong, i still love Lizard King, but there is something to be said for that balance you find in classic west coast pale ales

Was at Noon Whistle last night with some friends. Ended up having the Funny Gummy (2nd Anny NE IPA), Peach version of the NE IPA, BA Imperial Bernie w/cinnamon and BA Old Fashioned Bob Ross Did It . Wife had a glass of the Passion Fruit Face Smack.

Place is killing it right now and pumping out consistently tasty brews. 2nd Anny party weekend continues through today. Tough to beat with all pours being $5 this weekend. Great food trucks too. Cheers

Their 2 NE IPAs were legit. I should do a side by side with hops on hops. The regular was definitely better than cumulus/stratus to me.

Place is 10 minutes from me, and I've always enjoyed it. I love their sours. The BA Bernie wasn't great to me as far as BA beers go and is the only thing I've ever had that was below expectations. I really like regular Bernie. crushable 5% stout.

I'm with you. Very much enjoyed the two NEIPA's but thought the BA Bernie with Vanilla had a dominant artificial sweetness that was problematic. But the experience and beer were good enough for me to want to return on a food truck night again (Toasty Cheese was very good)

Good news for the sour fans, they said Guava Gose will be canned when it's released next (think summer?)

Missed the anniversary festivities this weekend. Did anybody try the BA Vanilla Bernie? I was curious to try it and traded the bottle I had of it away.

I stopped in twice over the weekend. Got crowlers of Funny Gummy (NE IPA) and Right By The Peach Boyee, which is Funny Gummy fermented on peaches. Both were really good. Also had the BA Imperial Bernie and Smack This (Black Sour). Smack This was fantastic but I thought the BA Bernie was a bit off for the style. The guy pouring it even thought it was BA Bob Ross when he tasted it. They also had a sweet deal with their 3 BA bomber offerings, 1 Cabernet BA Conan the Mandarian Wheat ale, 1 BBA Face Smack Berliner Weiss and BA Bob Ross Did it Scotch Ale, all 750ml 3 for $30. couldn't pass it up. This place is becoming a must try especially those $7 growlers on Thursdays.
