Just making assumptions here. I'm assuming Mike brewed this batch of Sosus from start to finish. One of the last times that happened was 2015's MD release. That was the best Sosus and one of the best IPA's that has ever graced my tongue. Stop complaining you idiots.

I'm coming in later on Thursday after the taproom is already closed. Any suggestions on the best local places to buy some take home beers? just looking for the current/typical offerings to share with friends in chicago.

Don't pass on Pulpit Rock. Courtyard and Cellar would be a good place to stop and look for TG bottles. Some local restaurants have bottles as well.

Sosus is really good beer! What's that one guy who hates unbalanced hoppy beers going to do now??!!

Oh wait, he'll just buy them in order to trade them :rolling_eyes::rolling_eyes:

The frown wasn't going to come until/if they were selling something else epic. But, just for you, I'll try to maintain an extra positive attitude throughout the whole thing. Some Loopy Lynn, Mr. Hoppy Pants, For the Joy of Almonds and a couple pours of Assassin should help immensely.

The co-op right on the main drag through town actually has some decent TG bottles.

    For everyone
Yeah, kinda strange when they replied to someone saying bring around $100 extra. 4 Sosus = $100? :astonished: Either way no complaints

If you had to divvy up the $205 cost among these 5 items, how would you do it?
    - 1x 12 oz. KBBS bottle = $95
    - 2x 22 oz. Assassin bottles = $50 each
    - 1 KBBS glassware = $5
    - 1 Assassin glassware = $5
    - the box = $0

This. Some advice for folks coming to Decorah for the first time: I know a lot of people here will be starting their day off at either T-Bocks, Rubaiyat or down at C&C. There are two pretty big parking lots downtown, one directly behind T-Bocks (Rubaiyat just across the street) and one directly behind us at C&C. Both of those lots are free parking overnight!
Street parking is free, but not for overnight.

I'd heartily endorse parking your car for the day in one of those lots - and traveling on foot up to TG. t's a 15-20 minute walk from downtown up the hill to TG (and you'll pass Pulpit on the way). Parking is going to be a zoo up around TG, so you're likely to end up walking some blocks even if you attempt to drive up there.

    For Friday...
    -TG King Sue
    -TG DDH Sue
    -Pulpit Rock - Loopy Lynn
    -Pulpit Rock - Pour Over
    - Forager - Moon Hops
    - Forager - Twisted Zweig
    - Urban Family - Clouds of Pale Gold

Yes, we will be open @ Courtyard & Cellar until 12am on Thursday night - we have DDH Sue, MoZee and Light Speed to-go.

Man, I'd love to know where you buy your $5 glassware.

I'd go $20 on each glass
    $60 each Assassin
    $45 KBBS
    $10 box/online charges.

Guessing they may have been trying to have something else ready and it just wasn't gonna happen.

Even Milwaukee gets Sosus, what're the odds I can just get some Iowa Sue around town to bring home?

Anyone know the difference between the Twitter accounts @TGBrews and @TheTGBNews? Both seem to be "official" accounts.

    @TGBrews is Clark, the owner.
@TheTGBNews is the PR lady, whose name I forget.

I would consider both of them official accounts, but Clark's is a little more off the cuff.

They are. One is Clark's Twitter (@TGBrews), I think. He kind of posts anything/everything he wants about beer. The other (@TheTGBNews) is for info on releases, events, etc. It's a little more formal and dedicated to information about when and where to get certain products (as opposed to being a hype vehicle). I think Jess or Megan (managers at the tap room) run that one.

I could be off, but I'm pretty sure that's the function of the two accounts/people behind them.
