That would be great although I keep my fingers crossed for the cucumber/ginger BWeiss in a bottle - love that one.

It was fun to see some people early on Friday but man that line was brutal - took us close to 3 hours. Always a good time at JOs though.

Well aware, having compiled and added the notes in lieu of anyone else taking the time to. Nevertheless, one can dream--but overall impressed with the awesome opportunity Lizardville offers every year.

 

It was pretty smooth. The line moved suuuuupppeerr slow, but they didn't run out of anything super quick. As for the stuff that was selling fastest; BA Oro Negro, Wood Ya Honey Nuts, BA Vanilla Coffee Dark App and Full Allotment. Full Allotment was the first thing to go in Lakewood actually. Draft list was awesome too!

 

Wow that's surprising about the Full Allotment collab--I actually saw that sitting on shelves a few different times over the Summer. I wonder if that was the last of it.

Drafts were definitely great. I actually found the Mandala Centennial to be my favorite IPA of theirs yet. It was really solid. Dank, piney and citrusy all at once and each of those attributes amped up more than expected.

 

(1) Attendance was varying at each of the 4 locations. I was at Bedford and there was a great turnout and most bottles sold out.

(2) Morning Cloak is returning.

(3) The new Oro bottles is a new batch that was put out in mid Dec.

 

Less than 2 cases of spirit beast.

 

Lizardville did the same last year, and the release did include Spirit Beast.

 

Well Pickles...I just assumed. Every time I went to Local Cantina they were very proud to be the only that had it in Columbus.

 

Are the left overs from the bottle even at lizardville? Or were these packed for another event? Was going to try and grab some lanthrone in Bedford this weekend. They also had 2014 kiln on the shelf, took one last time, it was great, hope the other is still left.

 

Lanthrone is still available at the Bedford Lizardville as of 4pm Friday. BA Woodburner, Oro Negro, Pawpaw Wheat, Berliner Weisse, Wood Ya Honey were also available.

 

Hey @beace Really enjoyed the Gose. Glad to see a solid traditional option. Any chance it finds it's way to cans?

 

Finally took my first trip out to Jackie O's this past weekend.

The food was phenomenal, the beer was great, atmosphere was awesome at the Public House and the Taproom.

Oh yeah, and stumbling on bottles of Spirit Beast was a nice surprise as well. I was pretty well roasted by the time we tried it, but it was amazing. Look forward to trying it uninhibited soon!

 

There were bottles of Spirit Beast left!? I was there saturday afternoon and didn't see any, I may need head back over then.

 

If you live anywhere close to Columbus. Most of the local cantina restaurants have a healthy amount left.
