    I just wanted to thank you all for being so wonderful! My boyfriend had been talking for sometime about how he wanted to try breakfast stout, so I had this harebrained idea about a month ago that I would enter the scary world of beer trading to try to score him some for his birthday (live in FL, no Founders here). I knew a little about craft beer, certainly nothing compared to most of you, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I was so surprised at how friendly and helpful everybody was, so I just wanted to thank you all for helping me with this birthday present :slight_smile:. You were all a bit too friendly and I got carried away, a 4 pack turned into...44 bottles, but thank again- I wish all internet strangers were this nice.

    Hahah my first trade post was really absurd (something like iso: cbs ft: jai alai) so I started a secret blog to chronicle my efforts in case I ended up with nothing to show. That meme is definitely going in

    I think that's pretty common. My first trade offer was a thread shit in someone's random rare request where I offered some PtE that I'd ordered online (Hey, it's top 10 and no one is here from Cali right). With my name, and the foolishness of my post, people thought I was trollin.

    Interestingly, I developed some of my best trading relationships with BA's who were giving advice on how to respond to he questions. I just wish I would have followed some advice and stayed away from sours (for my wallet's sake...)

    Tl;dr- Nice haul, ridiculous offers seem common for noobs

    Also noticed that you traded with some pretty good BA friends. Hope Trancesk8er hooked you up with some legit Cali offerings & I'm sure that CasanovaCummins delivered some great brews, we've had our fair share of trading package wars trying to one up each other in the past. Your bf is a lucky guy, cheers!
