Beer, dogs, and grandparents are the enablers of human civilization.

At first I thought it was a bad autocorrect of 'ice in glass'.

@Zamnb, as has been mentioned in several of your past threads, if you remain unconcerned about the real toxic issue of beer (i.e., ethyl alcohol) then everything else is genuinely a non-issue.

What is your next worry thread going to be about? The horse hooves 'issue' of gelatin?

I am really starting to think that the best thing for your psyche is to stop drinking beer (or any other alcoholic beer) and solely drink distilled water. But then you will probably start a thread somewhere about how the distillation process creates problem x.

Didn't foodbabe do an article about leachates from the water distillation process causing cancer?

Pretty sure all the beer I've had in my life is made with Isinglass as it has adhered to my mid section in a dense and stable sediment that is not easily disturbed.

Wow, that was mind-numbingly stupid. If you want to ignore that animal products are used in some beers, that's on you. But don't rationalize it as vegan.

But a vegan "bro" mentality turns more people off from veganism that declining a beer that was clarified with isinglass.

I think the only real objection for isinglass is from the vegan perspective.

Hey I had to look it up, they do use gelatin in the brewpub, and filter in the production brewery. Gelatin will fine the beer due to its electrical charge, just like isinglass.

That piece reminds me of something from The Onion- like the one where Mike Pence holds back funding from anything related to elk because they are not monogamous. My neighbor thought that Onion piece was real. Isinglass my ass! I'm pretty sure it's funny though.

The Onion - humor = Food Babe

I thought the days of people mistaking The Onion for real news passed over a decade ago... wow!

Morty has always really been gullible. He wanted to believe the elk piece. Modern real news seems to often relegate The Onion and others to unfamiliar impotence.

Either that or the "ewww, there was a fish bladder in there?" factor.

Though it's made from the swim bladder, not the kind of bladder that holds fish pee, so it's not nearly as gross as what people assume when they hear "bladder."

Relax, enjoy your brew! I frequently slaughter open baby pigs and soak their stomach organ in a pint of pilsner when I feel daring. Different strokes for different folks. Cheers mate.
