    Barleywines. Preferably barrel-aged.

    I think I may have a problem...

If I'm going to just throw a vote on the pile without qualifiers I'd probably say Helles. I could probably find examples in a couple other styles but I'd have to call out specific examples rather than just offering up the style as a whole.

Probably a IPA or a Amber Ale, or a Lager.

    Cheers!

Easy answer, the first beer after a long day. Those go down so easy and quick. This is why I try not to start with a big beer. But if I do, it will be high on the quaffability scale too.

While beating the Mild drum I must mention that NOTHING accompanies spicy food as well. A few years ago we kicked off our Mild in May campaign in a pub which was holding a curry night. We were atounded at how the beer and food not only went so well together but each significantly improved the other.

Most any lager style beer or a light ale like a well made Kolsch. After that it just depends on the mood and the environment as it could be anything one feels like drinking. Some days an IPA is perfect. But my go to would be a lager style

Shane, has Daredevil ever produced a Classic American Pilsner?

I can't comment to this style at large but my version of a CAP is a beer that demands another once the first one is done.

    Cheers!

    Dunkel (specifically Hofbrau and Ayinger)
    English Porter
    ESB
Munich Helles Lager (German Pilsners tend to be a one and done style for me, I love them but the Helles Lager has more balance thus making it more "quaffable" IMO)

I would agree with those stating that cask conditioned beer is definitely easy to drink - cellar temperature and mild carbonation.

But as for style I would go with a porter, dark mild, or schwarzbier.

First, I agree with your definition. Second, I don't comment much on what we do at Daredevil here on the website unless directly asked. We do make a fine German Pilsner. It's on tap now at the taproom. It's not currently distributed but our Crowlers travel well if you know a trader. We might can our Pils later in 2017. Our Kolsch is can'd (Vacation) and quite crushable too.

Or a good Helles. Which I always think of as Lager Pale Mild anyway.

My issues in life center around the quaffability of Sour Beers. They go down like soda, which coupled with higher ABV's and my pocket book limits, is an issue.

Quick Shout out to Oktoberfest beers, Black Butte (mentioned above) and Fat Tire, all extremely chuggable in my world.

    Bitter or mild

I like large servings of pils, helles and hefeweizens but I think I'd prefer to get trousered on twelve pints of bitter than them

could be a good experiment though, compare a days drinking on one style only.
