    Maui Brewing's Black Pearl is going to be released 1/26, presales began the 15th. Hawai'i only release. Black Pearl is the Imperial Coconut Porter aged in local high proof rum barrels, as well as on toasted coconut chips. Pretty stoked for this one!

    Please come to the main land. Please. I'm somewhat hopeful as I just picked up two four packs of Maui POG last week and I didn't think that it was going to make the mainland.

    I saw a corked and caged Maui Imperial Coconut Porter recently. Didn't see any other details on it though.

    Edit: I think it was like 9.5% though...

    I would imagine it will be be available here. Maui is getting a ton of cases (obviously). Those bottles will most likely sit for a while. Folks are wild about stouts here, which is good for me! $25 is a bit steep for me though, so I probably won't buy as much as I was hoping to get.

    FedEx runs expensive; done one trade thru them. For smaller trades (3 bombers or less), USPS flat rate is the best way to keep things reasonable ($18). People have opinions towards it being worth it or hate it. For me, its pretty much the only way I can trade without going broke

    Just a heads up I tried this beer the other night and it's pretty damn good! Honestly the barrel aging is a tad thin but a superb beer otherwise. If anyone wants to trade for it feel free to shoot me a message, there seems to be a good supply of it at the brewery.
