Finally, we have a touchdown in MO. Took a long time to arrive, which is why all the hops will be so stale...
Damage done by @jschott75 The wrap on the VBS bottle is torn a little bit, but I resisted the temptation to "accidentally" tear it a little more to see what's in there. Also, in with the beer was an awesome Tiki glass from 4 Hands!! Thanks so much. I've been cruising through dry January without much problem, all of a sudden I can't wait for February!!
Wait, people are still on BA? Let's see if I still remember how this dohickey works. So anyway, hot damn @azuelke knows how to send some beer! I heard the UPS guy cursing as he dropped off these two bombs. And then I was cursing when I saw them and carried them in quickly before my next meeting. Two boxes! I was hoping you were too much of a noob that you didn't know how to pack efficiently, but I was proven wrong. Box 1: Hot damn! Look at that spread! All those Central Waters beers. I'm such a sucker for their barrel aged beers. In fact, I was thinking about opening one of my CW BBBWs tonight. Well, that plan is now RUINED (see below.) Oh and two VBS bottles, the second one labeled "If you're feeling lucky!" I don't know if I do, I am feeling a bit intimidated. And if that wasn't enough, Box 2: 4x 32oz growlers from Fermentorium! I don't think I've had anything from them, but I will tonight! Now I just need to figure out which one of the 4 growlers to open. Any suggestions @azuelke? Thank you very much @azuelke - this was very appreciated. If I'm ever in your area, first round is on me.
Atleast our state isn't shaped like Americas penis. We are more like the part you can't see from your beer belly.
Thanks @hardysf 13 beers 8 of which are brand new ticks and 1 other vintage tick. Excited and humbled to dig in.
I read somewhere that you enjoyed Barleywines, so I figured I would call in some favors and found a couple (partial) verts for you. Apparently you dig stemware and have "too many shaker pints" (I'm not sure thats possible @Yourahoser ), so I figured a CW snifter would fit well with this box. Also, unless you have a WI trader, I doubt you've had anything from The Fermentorium. Local and new, plus I know the guys so that helps. What to drink first? Whatever tickles your fancy, maybe Covered Bridge first?[/QUOTE] I have no clue what you're talking about
Wow, I was absolutely destroyed by @Eziel . Thanks so much ! Revenge shall be sweet but the touching of tips some day shall be sweeter. Newbies, I guess you guys are okay in my book.. You really caught us off guard haha.
I must admit, I tried to hit new ticks and some wants (the wrapped bottle is a want too). After about 10 next page hits, and not even getting to the letter "a" yet on the hads, I tried to take the spirit of your group and swtfiw. Enjoy!
Don't mind if I do! This is pretty good! I don't usually dig golden ales, but this is hitting the spot. Thanks! You've got it right, I do love me some barleywines, and I didn't have a CW snifter before. And I have a ton of CW beer to drink, so now I can #properglassware it! Cheers!
