What is your worst disaster?

Ouch, I can say so far I'm lucky enough to not yet drop anything *knock on wood*

 

I've never smashed a bottle. You should be ashamed of yourself. I hope that bottle falling on the pavement is a recurring nightmare that you have until the day you die.

 

I've been fortunate as well. The biggest beer disaster I've had was a bottle of Fromboise de Amarosa that had way too much sediment, and when I opened it, it erupted and I lost half the bottle. I'm still a little disappointed that it came out looking like this:

I haven't dropped anything. Yet.

 

Once one of my coworkers dropped and entire case of Rochefort 8, it was pretty damn tragic.

 

Damn, I had some pumpkin soup today that looked just like this.

 

Not a breaking bottle, but had a friend/homebrewer open a magnum of his brew in my kitchen that was an infected gusher. Stuff hit the ceiling and proceeded to paint every surface in the room, needless to say he had to open any other brews outside first.

 

I lost a bottle of 4 year old Old Guardian. I also smashed this beautiful ceramic Paulaner mug. I don't know how big it was, but it was bigger than 2 liters. I didn't even have a chance to use it.

 

Had a bottle of Driftwoods Crooked Coast Alt fall out of my fridge door with some of my mom’s homemade jam, good smelling break. I picked it up on vacation for a trade too and couldn’t replace it, sorry papat444

 

A bottle of DFH 120 Minute met my basement floor a few months ago.

 

I dropped a child once...

 

I've only lost one (knock on wood) and it was St. Peter's Organic English Ale.

 

Did it eat through the concrete?

 

I spilled the remainder of my Double Nelson and then there was none.

 

bottle-bombs, several infected (expensive) batches that had to be pitched, and a whole lot of crappy homebrew because of typical 'rookie' mistakes

oh, and a bottle of Black Sheep Imperial Russian Stout broke in my suitcase on the way home to the States

 

when i was 21 i dropped a 12 pack of magic hat on the ground while walking into my parents house. a few of the bottles shattered but it was otherwise funny.

 

I almost dropped a bottle one time.

 

My wife spilled about half a glass of CBS on herself. I was at a loss for words
