@Mipper's idea of defending a "mark" though is to shake his cane at it, drive a rascal over it's foot, or to put his dentures in and bite it on the ass. Fortunately, I dusted off my old textbook "Trademark law for hobbits" and found that you have to cast the ancient Lurkal's spell to defend your mark. I forgot to write it down though. I left the book on the top shelf of my bookshelf that is filled with many leather bound books, so when you find a ladder (and then a stool for you to reach the first rung), you should be able to get to it.
