Well, @JakeScully , I'll see your stout and raise you an Omnipollo/Siren/Dave Strachan Lorelei! This is and imperial porter brewed with roasted coconut and maple syrup. Amazing nose on this, like most black Omnipollo beers...

Good morning BA, have a great Saturday! We are supposed to have some really warm weather today up here. I'm probably going to relax all day though, don't really have any errands to run for today. Probably going to fire up some video games on my new desktop powerhouse, haven't done that in a couple weeks.

My go-to winter seasonal brown ale. Rich flavors of caramel, toffee, chocolate, cocoa, toasted biscuit, and nutty malts; with some light herbal/floral/spicy hops; and a balanced roasted bittersweet finish. Nice medium bodied creamy/bready mouthfeel; with a touch of roast/hop stickiness and dryness. Always love this stuff. Its on the roasty side of the brown ale spectrum, but it's not overdone to the point that makes it feel like a porter. Always grab at least a 6 pack every year now. Might grab another, this was my last one from the pack.[IMG]

Fantastic as usual. Flavors of big toasted coconut, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, cream, toffee, dark bread, and light coffee. Light balancing roast bitterness against sweetness. Awesome creamy/silky medium body; light touch of sticky/chalky roast character and dryness. I love this stuff. If I could have bought a case, I would have. It was fairly limited around here. At least I have a handful of locals to get my coconut beer fix in that are year round. I have a few more of these left, hope we see more of it next release.

Incredible as usual. Flavors of big juicy grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon/orange peel, and pine hops; with moderate honey/bready malt sweetness; and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness; with an awesome balanced creamy/sticky/resinous medium-full bodied mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, with zero lingering hop astringency. Not overly sweet or bitter, extremely well balanced. Lightly warming alcohol, but extremely easy drinking. Never disappoints. Going to try and grab another 6 pack next week, seems to be pretty heavy on the distribution this year.

Continuing on my Demon series cellar grabs since they are getting retired. Last Jan 2006 Mephistopheles. This is tasting insane! Flavors of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, molasses, toffee, coffee, raisin, prune, fig, date, cherry, licorice, fudge, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, leather, tobacco, and light smoke/charcoal. Light-moderate roast/char bitterness against sweetness; zero cloying. Very full bodied creamy, slick, thick mouthfeel; with some lightly drying sticky/chalky roasted grain character after the finish. Mildly warming for 15.1%, no booze. After 11 years, this is still drinking in it's prime for age. I can't see this getting any worse. Will definitely grab more of this beer for the cellar, since they sit around on the shelf. I bought a bunch of this vintage 3-4 years off the shelf locally.

    Cheers

    Good Saturday morning BA's !!

I don't have any coffee stouts left here, so I had to start with a Founders RIS and a cup of coffee
If my wife wakes up and finds me having a beer at 8:30 in the morning it will be a Loooooonggg day . This forum/site has definitely had a bad influence on me for sure , but very enjoyable...Lol

When you get older and wake up with them constant aches and pains, well that strong brew is an amazing pain reliever.

Got to make a beer run later and reload .

    CHEERS !!! ❤✌️

Big time beer envy! I really really wanted one of those! Omnipollo make some crazy good adjunct stouts. My local beer shop only got 12 bottles and held a lottery to be allowed to buy one.

Good morning BAs! Another soggy day here in NW PA - soooo much better than snow! Yesterday, after taking my recycling on a field trip to the local recycling center, I stopped at my favorite distributor. PA has just allowed distributors to sell six-packs and singles so I was twitching and rubbing my hands together. I scored a case of Great Lakes Blackout Stout ($59),
a case of Sierra Nevada Narwhal ($60), and some assorted four- and six-packs as well as a single Stone Double Bastard in the Rye. Overall, a profitable day. And even better, Mrs Lizard didn't see me bring them in! From that haul, today's New Breakfast Beer:

Typically Southern Tier - could have been great but instead its just above average. At least I only had to buy a six-pack to be disappointed rather than a case. Speaking of disappointing:

Celebrating a very special occasion with a very special beer.

Big thanks to @LethalChickens for this huge, very long time want.

Also, BA review #950, and #98 out of the original top 100 list that I set out to complete several years ago (I tell you the first 90 beers were a lot easier to tick than these last 10 or so).

Oh, by the way, this is the special occasion

Gulf of Mexico as the backdrop as the morning dew settles. Life is good!
