Time for the blind VBS courtesy of you darn Newbies...someone knows me all to well #Ultraman This is rather delicious. Obviously barrel stout but with tons of depth. Very bright and rich. Tastes like a favorite too. Cheers!!

Before even cracking the cap I guessed Last Snow, with a couple FB in the box and my sender located where he is, it seemed reasonable to hope for my favorite (non-BA) coconut beer.... popped the cap without even exposing it and.... I smell coconut! And it pours like a porter... but there's a boozy, bourbony element, so now I'm guessing I got an upgrade to one of my favorite beers of all of 2016, Snowed In! Take a sip, and it's damn close, but a little different from that one... could it be? IT IS! Last Buffalo in the Park! A HUGE Want of mine, but not even on my (woefully out of date) Wants list. For those that don't know, during the weekend of the 3.0 share, we toured the Buffalo Trace distillery, so a beer aged in their barrels is especially appropriate for this #vbs Thanks so much @HeartofMiami! @SRBush1974 thanks for the anniversary beer! I did a quick blind test before removing label. I had no idea who to guess the bottle shape and caged cork threw me off. Definitely was coffee forward with barrel so I simply guessed a coffee stout. Guessed the notes right! New tick and this is very good. Reminds me of cold brew coffee.
Couldn't do mine blind (fucking box), but here she is: One of my favorite breweries and this guy was gone before I could grab one, so this is really appreciated. Thanks for the great beer @Homebrew and thanks for the fun Noobs. And happy 3.0 anniversary my fellow SWTFYWers!!!
