I tried, but I failed. Just one tonight. So I opened this up blind, 22oz, and a Central Waters cap. I made an educated guess what I thought it might be / hoped it was... Dark Imperial stout, barrel aged. Suuuper tasty, aged a little bit but not too much. Guessed it was either Eighteen or some other BA Central Waters stout like Black Gold. Eighteen!!! YEAH BUDDY! Super good. Thanks a ton @azuelke it was really appreciated. I have an earlier Central Waters Anniversary year beer cellared I just haven't got around to opening yet, so getting to drink this was fantastic. Sorry I haven't opened bottle #2 yet. I drank too much leading up to bottle #1 and my eyes were bigger than my liver. I will take a losers lap soon and finish it off. Sorry to disappoint!
I was wishing and hoping it was what it wS before I put it all together. Missing neck label...scratched off cap...buthat's once I poured and tasted it I knew it was morning wood which I've been hunting without success! Thank you so much @Steban this is like....just thank you man!!!!
I got one hit on my ISO and my butthole hurt so bad before I finished reading their offer I skipped it. Thanks man. Oh boy that 6 shipper is Gonna be crammed with the best Sam Adam's I can find!
Covered bottle VBS! Knew it was Funky Buddha from the cap but that's it. Lots of cinnamon, thought there was maybe some apple in there so Muy Bonita came to mind but then got more brown sugar and a hint of barrel and thought otherwise. I also had the infected BA version when it came out a few years ago so figured it had to be a different beer. Man, tasty AF! Wasn't able to pinpoint the maple syrup as actual maple syrup, tasted more brown sugar along with the cinnamon. Barrel is pretty muted but there on the end. Super tasty! Thanks a bunch, @CBrodbeck !
CW Anniversary beers are just flat out great. I'll try to snag you a Nineteen from my couple buddies that are going up to get bottles next weekend!

Very poor timing but date night got late and cell phones were off limits! Cheers everyone, glad to see the camaraderie and love. This was huge barleywine nose. Looked old ale or BW. No guess until I saw inside of cap, FW inscription. I guessed a newer Anny beer due to the boozy!

Huge thanks @brightcloud for the VBS bottle (Nocturn Chrysalis blend three). I shared it (blind) with @jfstilling before the Curious 10 release at Creature Comforts, and I'll let his post stand in place of me figure out how to put a picture on BA (we're bad at that, y'know). Jesse and I did a pretty good job of recognizing the three VBS bottles blind. I nailed MoaS although I thought it had some age because I felt like I got a hint of oxidation, Jesse nailed exactly "Nocturn Chrysalis, blend three" basically as soon as that beautiful purple color gushed from a 500mL genie bottle all over the table (we were able to drink most of the bottle -- no worries!), and we both got De Garde, wine barrel with wine grapes for The Lily, but couldn't call the beer name exactly. The blind sharing and discussion was great, and the beers were superb. Cheers!
