What I've learned from this thread every month is that anything, ANYTHING can and will be justified.

Don't know the exact figures but that would result in a smaller cut for the brewery.

i.e. Costco sells Smog bottles for less than Smog sells Smog bottles.

I see a lot that raffle for $105 ($7 per spot/15 spots) including shipping. The smaller releases (Deep Concentration, Biggie) I've seen at $120 ($8 per spot/15 spots).

We're talking about extending an production run to as many people as they can, not ensuring that people who have never tried get some.

If you've never tried it and want to, get in line.

Will probably stop by tomorrow on the way to pick up my Infinite Wishes bottles and get a growler fill if it still lasts till tomorrow

A friend of mine is there and said there's a crazy line. That just for growler fills?

Small chance but anyone currently there to provide a line update? Was thinking of making my way over there for a couple fills but not if I have to wait an hour.

Yah, there is often a line when a new beer is put up for fills.

Yea, your probably going to have a wait, It took us 45 minutes and we were there early, add to the fact that this is a DIPA that is getting the typical stupid ratings. If you want the full allotment head over, they'll cut this down to one sooner than later.

    Cheers,

Just opened this. I thought Shaneal O' Quille was the best growler only DIPA, this is probably better and probably a good reason the lines are the way they are, it was worth the 45 minutes today for 2 of these.

    Cheers,

Glad you braved the lines. Been there, done that. Worth it? Maybe. Maybe not. There's so much goodness out there these days. Was it raining there today?

Wasn't bad at all, there were about 15-20 in line when we arrived, once they opened we were all inside, it rained like crazy but it stopped while we were there. Shared a taster with my nephew and then picked up our two growlers.

    Cheers,

Other than TH, has there ever been another brewing that has kicked growler fills as quickly as Monkish?

Seems like nearly every single IPA they make now is a DIPA (including today's new Growler fill beer)... which I'm finding is not where I enjoy this style as much, hoping they continue to offer some beers in the 5-7% range.

Me too, but apparently high ABV sells better across many style beers, just look at the insanity created by BIGGIE,BIGGIE,BIGGIE !

    Cheers,
