Used to be my Teku, but I find that don't really like long stem glasses anymore. I typically use the Spiegelau tulip and have really been enjoying my Becher tumbler lately.

Tulip or Snifter. IMO has to have a stem. I would say Teku but I don't have one yet

I have a 22 oz snifter that I like for big stouts with only a 1/4 full to really agitate, a couple smaller ones too that I utilize. My most recent fav is an old Warsteiner pint glass I picked up at...Goodwill..I thought man this thing is filthy and has gunk stuck on bottom but it'll clean up...turns out it cleaned up but bottom was a tore up. Don't know if it's on purpose but it is scored and creates an everlasting head and doesn't change a beer as far as I can tell. Looks like a POS but tastes great.

My Sam Adams perfect pint for lagers and low abv.
Tulip from a local for sours and high abv.

I like the Sam Adams glass for all my ipa's and usually just standard pint for stouts and porters. Am i missing out on anything by not using a different glass.

I've been asking for specific glasses from favorite breweries as my Christmas and birthday presents; Founders, Central Waters, Prairie, Odell, Stone, KBS, etc - mostly tulips and snifters. I also was able to bag a few Snorkel glasses. When I drink a beer I either use the matching glass, or else I use a Snorkel.

You'll get more aroma, I'd recommend picking up at least a tulip and snifter. That with a standard pint and Sam Adams glass should be all you really need.

I have a decent selection of glassware, but these get the most use.

Right now, I am using a mason jar that my Dad canned jalapenos in. I kept it and decided to use it. Others that I enjoy are a tulip from DB and a SA perfect pint. Lately, I have been drinking canned beer straight from the can.

Not a big fan of stems, but I think tekus look kind of cool, and this is sort of like a stemless teku, so there you have it.

My Frankenmuth Lager Mill snifter. Also, hate to admit it, but my Sam Adams perfect pint glass. Works like a charm for many styles of beer.

So is there any reason why the Sam Adams glass, which has a tulip top half, wouldn't have the same aroma release as a glass that was only a tulip?

You're getting a lot of the benefit of a tulip from a sam Adams perfect pint, I still prefer a tulip for high abv and sours.

I use a Hill Farmstead stemmed glass when I'm feeling fancy, and a Sam Adams perfect pint the rest of the time.
