Probably will stop by tomorrow to try and get a fill. Interested to see how all the hops blend together.

Anyone order a pour of it yet?

    I agree... I really like 6.8%'s

I wish they would can or brew Damfino 3 again... that stuff was straight heat!

Yeah the 6.5 to 7ish percent IPAs are awesome. Eric C is President was one of my favorites because I thought the El Dorado hops added something different from the typical Citra/Galaxy juice.

I had a pour and filled some growlers yesterday. It was really nice. Has a dank nose. Great mix of hops.

Another IP-only bottle? Have a feeling the "pre- pre-" group is a thing of the past :slight_frown:

Can we get a webcam on the parking lot bros? I want to see their bearded faces every time Monkish makes a IG post that is NOT a can release.

I suspect these bottles will last thru the weekend. Most of their non fruited saisons seem to take a while to sell which is insane because they are so damn good!

Hopefully some of them check the website since they updated that there won't be a can release this week. I guess that's a week off for the parking lot crew.

Just left, in and out in 5 minutes with growlers and bottles, LOTS of bottles were being bought. Supposedly because of their construction project there should be a few new IPAs/DIPAs for fills over the next few days is what I was told.

    Cheers,

Question for you Monkish regulars: Do you feel that when you get pours on tap at the brewery that the beer there is never cold enough for your liking? I feel like every time I get a pour, even being there right when it opens (assuming their kegs didn't have a lot of turnover) the beer is not cold enough. I much prefer drinking out of the cans/growlers as a normal fridge would be a lot cooler than what they pour. At first, I assumed it was because they go through so many kegs in a day, that it keeps changing. Does anyone else feel that way on here, or am I just weird?

    Any responses are appreciated.

I've not drunk pours at Monkish, but I've definitely had beer poured too cold many places. Most good beer shouldn't be drunk ice cold . . . maybe Monkish is serving it at "proper" temperature for the style (?)

Board n Brew Rancho Santa Maragarita usually has a great tap list but the beer is frequently so cold that there are icicles in it.

Lucky Baldwin's Trappiste is really bad for this. I usually have to wait ten or fifteen minutes before a beer is drinkable.
