Highland Park Brewery thread

Now that Monkish isn't doing a can release this week, I can already hear the Haze Bros folding up their chairs and migrating north to HPB. It's a beautiful site, seeing all the wildebeest following the brew release patterns, strollers and all.

Narrator: *in British accent* Here we see the neckus beardus following the twitter newsfeed to their next destination. These strange beasts tend to stay in one area, but are known to make these journeys on occasion. Oh, here we see the neckus beardus approach a Jim's burger. Half the herd will head in and feed, while most of the males will be outside doing "Black Tuesday Verts." As you can see, the males keep their beverages in their miniature wagons, which is used primarily to carry their young. As always, the males with toast, and have the females document this process, which if I understand correctly, is done "for the gram." I'm not quite sure what that entails, by I do not believe they are referring to a unit of measurement. Sadly, for this species, most of the herd's dignity will not survive this journey.

 

It started off in David Attenborough land and then ended in Werner Herzog land. I like it

 

Subtle, but with strong Germanic tone, makes Herzog the most beautiful voice in the land. His new film "Lo And Behold", is pretty awesome.

 

He's one of my favorite filmmakers. got to meet him once, completely randomly. I actually heard his voice and recognized him that way before seeing him. Talk to him and his son for a while. He was fucking cool, as expected

just heard bob say they've gone through about 65 cases so far but there's no line at all right now

Website shows Big No No, Refresh, and Please Forgive Me on for growler fills... anyone know if that's still current?

 

It is not - Spaceship 344, Good Green, and Unwind on right now.

And cans of Neon still available at the moment if anyone was looking.

That was for a growler only fill IPA, not cans ICYDK.

A friend of mine brought up a great idea.. Triumph the Insult Dog really needs to show up at some of these events. It would be incredible

Anyone try Well, Well yet? Thinking about grabbing a growler for the Super Bowl if it's still available for fills.

 

I had a glass of Well, Well with lunch yesterday and got a 32oz fill to go. I thought it was excellent - I really enjoy the majority of HPB IPAs and Well, Well stood out to me.
