Well of course you didn't -- you used only your own wait times. Need to compare it to at least 30-50 other people before it becomes statistically valid :astonished::rolling_eyes::grinning:.

Now we're talking. Wonder if OH would pay us in beer to do a survey of everyone who comes to purchase beer at a given release.....

According to some charitable soul who posted on Untappd - 3rd anniversary 4 oz pours are available right now in the taproom.

Yeah, it's strikingly boozy on draft, I really don't know that I'd want to drink more than 4 oz given the other options. It sounds like cans are a bit more mellow though.

I never understood how cans can be more mellow than draft. It's the same beer. Does anyone have any insight into what causes this?

Its Stoogieman and depends on what time you get there. Hope to see you there.

I would imagine it isn't totally unlike splits (375 ml bottles) of wine aging faster than 750s. Volume is in some sense a cubic function of dimension while headspace contact area is in some sense only a square function. So oxidation and other chemical reactions could behave differently.

It definitely sounds like I'm just making shit up at this point though and anybody else is welcome to chime in.

This fucking guy.I had the misfortune of being next to cigar man for about an hour. Strange dude. He was there on line cranking away on a laptop in like 28 degree weather, not talking to anyone. Then he fires up his stoogie, looks up at me (he was sitting down), says "sorry" and continues to puff away.

In his defense, most of us waiting in line for beer at 7 am in 28 degree weather could be described as "weird dudes (and dudettes)"

Had to stand next to a couple sucking on their douche flute the last time I was in line.

How would you compare this to BUTS in the boozy dept.? I found BUTS to be barely drinkabe for the first 3 weeks. It wasn't until about 4 weeks did I really enjoy it....

I'm not sure if it's me, but it seems like the higher ABV OH offerings always taste way more boozy in the tap room than cans/growlers at home. I also always feel like I get hit in the face with straight hop scent goodness as soon as I walk into the taproom; which I think kind of screws with my other senses.

Stopped by for a taste. Awesome stuff! Really fruity and hoppy. Got absolutely no booze. It is a bit hot, but I attribute that to it still being a little green. Drinks nowhere near 10%. Truly remarkable stuff. Should be LIGHTS OUT in about a week. See y'all in line tomorrow.

Wait..no booze but hot? Hot is a descriptor of booziness.

I didn't get the chance to try BUTS on draft and would be reluctant to compare. I wish I had kept a BUTS can that long to see how it developed. I think around week 2.5 or so I was moving on.

Yeah, I had some tonight and surprisingly liked it a lot. I typically don't like hoppy beers over ~8%. Hell, I don't like most Other Half double IPAs.

Might have to send my girlfriend over there tomorrow if/when the lines die down.

By hot I mean hoppy. Sorry, maybe hot isn't the right word. Got no booze at all.
