There is one called King for a Day in the database, but I've never seen it, and its only been checked once on untappd since 2014.

Price increase is the trade off for expansion which is the cause of continuous availability. Paying $14 for a 4pak of Sneakbox or Head High means you can walk in at 16.43 on a Sunday afternoon and know that cans are there for purchase rather then, say, a small canning run selling out at 17.28 on its Saturday release day.

Referencing Carton, let's check back on their prices when the invoices are due for that expansion some time late this year.

As I drink my first non-growlered Sneakbox, with its image of Barnegat Lighthouse and the name referencing a boat that traces its origins to Ocean County, I thought it would make a good candidate to be the state beer. Why not? We have a state tree, bird, bug etc. We should have a state beer. You could make a case for O'dub as well, but I'm drinking Sneakbox right now

I bought both on Sunday and still no "canned on date".

Just saw that RateBeer started posting its awards for 2016. Kane got best brewer in NJ and best brewery tap room in NJ. Also, ANTEAD was named best beer in NJ. Congrats to Kane - well deserved!

Btw does anyone know if Kane has brewed a Belgian tripel in the past? I love that style and would really like to taste Kane's interpretation.
King for a Day (KFAD) was a homebrew me and a friend @Smosk entered into a homebrew contest at the Cloverleaf Tavern (under our fictitious Brewery name, Surrey Boys Brewing). This was back in 2014. The contest was judged by Kane (Michael & others) and Ryan at Cloverleaf. KFAD took 1st place and the prize was that we would brew the beer at Kane and it would be served on tap at both the Brewery and the Cloverleaf Tavern. We spent the day Brewing our beer at Kane and Michael, Glenn and Matt Czigler (of Czigmeister fame, who was the head brewer at the time), could not have been nicer. I will always be a huge Kane fan not just for the great beers they brew but for the hospitality they showed us during our visit. I'd also love to see Kane brew a Belgian Tripel and if they are interested in bringing back KFAD, they know where to reach us .
