Some of the beers on this year's list sound amazing. I'm particularly interested in the Crooked Stave BA Imp Stout.
I just hope they keep the tap lists up to date. I found myself going fewer and fewer times the past couple of years because they weren't advertising the releases, tappings or updating the tap lists.
Quite a few breweries have jumped onto the band wagon. Let's try to keep the info flowing on what's upcoming and which beers impressed the most (or didn't).

While other breweries may have adopted February to release dark beers, in my universe, there is only one Stout Month. And that is Mountain Sun Stout Month.

Seriously though, great thread. I'm looking forward to February this year (at Mountain Sun and elsewhere)

Gonna have to swing by during one of their "off" times as all of the MS locations become madhouses most evenings and weekends in February. Luckily, even if there are big crowds, they bring out free samples and fries while you wait.

    Finkel & Garf

On Feb 18th at 3p, we will be releasing our 2nd Annual Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. This year it was aged with a touch of cinnamon and vanilla. There is a two (2) 4-pack limit per person.

I'll probably like it just fine, but I kind of wish this was a one off and they still did just the straight BBA Stout again

Anyone ever attend one of these Finkel & Garf releases before? Do they sell out the same day or does the beer tend to stick around for a little bit? I have a friend that will be in town that weekend and we might hit this up after the PtY tapping at FRTH.

Vine Street now has a "menu" option to keep up with their taplist on Facebook (but FYI it doesn't work on mobile).

Stopped by earlier today and the big hits for me were Cerebral's Forever Awake Imperial Coffee Stout and the Vine Street Nihilist RIS. "We don't believe in Any-sing, Lebowski!"

Addition Coffee Stout and Dropkick were also worth tasting.

If Chocolate Thunder is anything like a couple years ago, it's flat out incredible. Is that on @ Vine St.? They have a beer menu option now, but don't update it.

Anyone know when the BA Stout from Crooked Stave is going on?

As what typically happens with beer menus, it hasn't been updated since 2/9 (5 days ago, which some of the 'coming soon' beers have already kicked.)
